Biden’s Personal Physician’s Refusal to Testify Shows a Cover-Up on the Scale of Watergate

In politics, like in life, there is always a careful balance between the past and the future. While elections are almost always about what a candidate plans to do moving forward, oftentimes, the nation still needs closure over what has already transpired. When unethical or illegal actions are allowed to stand and not face scrutiny, a dangerous precedent is set for the nation. Justice delayed is also often justice denied.

The fact that the citizens of this country still do not know what people or persons was actually running the country during the four long and failed years of the corrupt Biden regime is unacceptable. President Trump and the Republicans have done everything possible to shed led on the biggest scandal in Washington since Watergate, and the public deserves real and timely answers. Joe Biden had a clear cognitive decline even in the 2020 Democratic primary, when there was strong evidence that he was having memory issues during the debates. One of his left-wing competitors, Julian Castro, even called out his clear mental decline during a heated exchange on immigration in a Democratic debate.

This is why the decision by Joe Biden’s personal physician, Kevin O’Connor, who was attending to the former President both when he was in the White House and before then in Delaware, should alarm the country. O’Connor has tried absurdly to assert executive privilege and claim that patient-client confidentiality rules apply, but these arguments are clearly nonsensical for obvious reasons. The President of the United States is the ultimate public figure; this individual does not have any right of privacy when significant questions about their personal health exist. The leader of the free world is not just some ordinary citizen. Trump has also revoked O’Connor’s right to assert executive privilege, which is part of the reason the physician was forced to recently take the 5th to avoid self-incrimination. O’Connor was Biden’s personal physician before he became president, so there is more reason to believe that he had the kind of close and personal relationship with the former President that would make him willing to cover up the former President’s obviously deteriorating mental state.

There are still many important and unanswered questions both about Biden’s mental and even physical health, as well as the inner workings of the corrupt and incompetent former administration. We now know that the auto pen was frequently used for actions such as executive orders and even pardons, which raises serious questions over Biden’s awareness of these decisions. Majority leader Congressman Mike Johnson also has disclosed a conversation he had with Biden, where the former President was unaware of a major executive order he supposedly had supported involving natural gas and Ukraine.

The true cost of having a senile and mentally impaired President for 4 years will never be completely known, but we know the consequences were severe. Biden was unavailable as the Taliban were marching on Kabul during the disgusting and failed withdrawal from Afghanistan by his administration. Many countries around the world, including nations such as Russia, China, and Iran, clearly thought there were actions they could take and get away with in part because of the weakness projected by the former President. There are also questions about Biden’s cancer diagnosis. The former Senator from Delaware claimed to have only recently been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer, but medical experts claim he must have had this cancer even before he entered the White House. While it is obvious some cancers are hard to detect in early stages, Biden’s decision to disclose his cancer diagnosis at the exact time books were coming out questioning his mental health while he was in office raises questions. The fact that the entire White House medical team, including O’Connor, supposedly missed this diagnosis also raises the issue of how closely the former President was even being evaluated and if Jill Biden and his other handlers were keeping him from getting medical help to uncover his obvious and significant cognitive decline.

The nation deserves answers, and precedent matters. If a senile President can cover up with mental health and get away with these actions, that is dangerous for the country for multiple reasons. While obviously Biden isn’t going to be criminally prosecuted at his advanced age for covering up his medical health, the Republican hearings are still important to both reveal the truth and show that there are political consequences to lying to the nation every day for 4 long years. Joe Biden was corrupt, and his administration was incompetent. Still, the largest cover-up during his time in power by far was the concealment of his severely impaired mental state. This kind of dishonesty cannot be tolerated or made acceptable; there needs to be both transparency and accountability.
