Meet ST VERONICA GIULIANI, the Most Incredible Saint You’ve Maybe Never Heard Of | YouTube
The Lord directs and commands me through patterns.
Not always through thunder or visions, but often through something far quieter: timing.
And through dates of saints’ feast days.
This video is pulled from the start of DEAR JOHN, a spiritual memoir chronicling my 33-day consecration journey to Jesus through Mary. It captures the eve of that pilgrimage—one small moment that nearly went unwritten, but which now stands as a marker of something far greater.
A year after this video was first recorded, my mother—one of the three women to whom this book is dedicated—would pass away. She died a day after St Veronica Giuliani’s feast. I had just spent ten days at her bedside, praying with her, leaving unknowingly for the final time on July 9.
In 2025, as I reboot this video on July 8 in honor of Veronica’s feast on July 9, I discover that some Catholics around the world now celebrate her on…
July 10.
July 9… July 10. And wouldn’t you know—at the 9:10 timestamp in the video before this one, I begin my introduction of the saint.
These are the kinds of divine stirrings I’ve come to recognize in my life. For whatever reason, God gives me these “coincidences”—and I suppose He knows I’ll sit there in awe long enough to notice.
There are even more “incidental” ones tied to the date 9/10, but I won’t go into them here. Because the real heart of faith isn’t in cute winks—it’s in what the winks help me do. It’s in steadfastness, in sacrifice, and in the painful, beautiful turning away from sin.
This was the beginning of attempt number 1000 of my own turning.
The video can be found under the DEAR JOHN playlist at KNIGHT TIME CATHOLIC ACADEMY.
