UK Spying On Its Citizens, Ignores Migrants

The UK should serve as an example for any nation that supports unrestricted immigration. They appear to have lost their direction due to a rise in extreme progressive ideologies. Their cities are increasingly facing challenges related to radical elements within the Muslim community who seem unwilling to integrate into mainstream society.

The growing divide along ethnic and sectarian lines poses a serious threat to the British legacy of common citizenship and a shared civic identity. When outsiders show a lack of respect for the existing population of a country they are entering, conflicts are likely to arise.

The term “conflicts” is an understatement; the situation is heading toward civil war. Currently, anti-Muslim hatred is at an all-time high, and there are reasons for this. Roaming gangs, Palestinian flags outnumbering Union flags, and open defiance of British law have pushed citizens to their breaking point. However, the most concerning issue may be that government officials have shown little support for the public. Instead, they accuse the very people they should be helping of Islamophobia while turning a blind eye to numerous instances where Muslims are the aggressors.

Now, they are at it again. An “elite team” of police officers has been tasked to monitor social media for anti-migrant sentiment amid fears of summer riots. Detectives from all across the UK are taking part in new investigations unit as the small boats crisis escalates.

The division, overseen by the Home Office, aims to enhance social media intelligence gathering after chief constables faced criticism for their response to last year’s disorder.

Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner warned the Cabinet last week that the Government must take action to address the significant concerns people have about immigration.

That said, Prime Minister Keir Starmer is accused of an “obsession with censorship” by critics of the National Internet Intelligence Investigations team.

Independent MP Rupert Lowe said: “Another day in Starmer’s dystopian two-tier Britain.”

Lowe wrote to Home Secretary Yvette Cooper and asked not only the most important question, but also the most obvious one concerning this “dangerous development:”

“Why is funding being prioritised for online speech surveillance instead of increasing frontline policing or addressing the causes of the migrant hotel protests?”

Madeleine Stone, from the civil liberties group Big Brother Watch, stated that this is:

“Yet another example of this Government’s fixation on censorship and is disturbingly reminiscent of the Covid-era counter-disinformation units, which encountered significant backlash.”

On Sunday, two women and a man were arrested during a protest and counter-protest outside a hotel in Essex that is being used to house migrants. This incident is part of a series of demonstrations at The Bell in Epping, which began after 38-year-old asylum seeker Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu denied attempting to kiss a 14-year-old girl.

Protesters waved union flags, while activists from Stand Up To Racism marched to the hotel carrying signs that read, “Stop scapegoating refugees and migrants.”

Protests have also taken place outside the four-star Britannia International Hotel in Canary Wharf, as well as in Wolverhampton, Cheshire, and Bowthorpe near Norwich.

People are pissed. This incident with the young girl is a typical example of societies colliding. But, once again, officials are handling this in the wrong way by scrutinizing the actual citizens whom they should be defending.

A spokesperson for the Home Office stated:

“This new team will assist police forces in tracking real-time information and protecting communities from incidents and emergencies before they escalate.”

The National Police Chiefs’ Council stated: “Forces will continue to support the right to peaceful protest,” then added that they are “closely monitoring the latest intelligence to ensure we can respond swiftly to reports of serious disorder.”

“We have mechanisms in place, enhanced following last summer, to enable us to mobilize resources at a regional and national level if required.”

Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp cut through the nonsense and told the Sunday Telegraph:

“Two-tier Keir can’t police the streets, so he’s trying to police opinions instead. They’re setting up a central team to monitor what you post, what you share, what you think, because deep down they know the public doesn’t buy what they’re selling.”

The newly launched division will be named the National Internet Intelligence Investigations Team. Critics say it marks another step in Britain’s decline into a surveillance state.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage said:

“This is the beginning of the state controlling free speech. It is sinister, dangerous, and must be fought. Reform UK will do just that.”

The UK is circling the drain, and the fall has been largely self-induced. They have done almost nothing to protect their own citizens, and instead have embraced the leftist philosophy of unconditional support of illegal immigration at the expense of those who elected them.

The UK is dying on the vine, and the government officials continue to water and fertilize the wrong plants.
