Woke Colorado DA Faces Recall Over Sex Offender Release

There is a saying that you should “Never judge a book by its cover.” Under normal circumstances, that is definitely true. Still, there is another idiom that states, “There is an exception to every rule,” and in the case of Solomon Galligan, I would say that this freak is that exception.

Try to ignore the fact that Galligan could apply for most horror flicks and not require makeup. Instead, try to imagine you’re an 11-year-old and this mutant from the living dead is chasing you and then grabs you to try and abduct you.

Enter Democratic DA Amy Padden. She is this story’s version of Doctor Frankenstein. Padden, like Dr. Frankenstein, wants to unleash this monster back into society. She can do this because when it suits her, she hides behind so-called “Law requirements,” which she and other liberal judges conveniently ignore totally when their agenda is not being satisfied.

This nightmare began last year in April, when Galligan, a 33-year-old sex offender, tried to abduct an 11-year-old who was at recess from Black Forest Hills Elementary School in Aurora, Colorado. The abduction attempt was caught on video, and he was apprehended shortly after the attack.

Prosecutors stated that Colorado law prohibits legal proceedings against individuals deemed mentally incompetent, regardless of the serious allegations and Galligan’s troubling history.

The parents of children at the school were understandably outraged and questioned how someone with Galligan’s background could approach schoolchildren so easily.

The incident prompted further backlash toward school officials.

Concerned parents submitted a 10-page complaint to the Cherry Creek School District, demanding an independent review of recent events.

In the weeks that followed, Principal Amanda Replogle was removed from her position.

In a letter to families, Replogle acknowledged that the school failed to implement a secure status lockdown immediately after the attempted abduction and recognized confusion in the response process.

“We did not know all the details of what occurred as we do now.”

Following the incident, the district implemented new safety measures, including the deployment of more visible security officers, an optional indoor recess policy, and enhanced mental health resources for students.

Liberals are adept at making laughable attempts to correct problems they created after a catastrophic incident. That said, even their efforts are worthless. Are the parents really supposed to feel more secure when District Attorneys like Amy Padden exist?

As Resist the Mainstream reported, last year, Padden’s office agreed to a plea deal with a 15-year-old illegal immigrant who killed a young woman in a high-speed crash. Despite being in the country unlawfully and lacking a driver’s license, the teen received just two years of probation and 100 hours of community service.

A decision that was widely criticized for being overly lenient for obvious reasons.

Protecting illegal immigrants is fine. Prosecuting a deranged sex offender is not because it is not part of the liberal agenda. Padden’s office, in Colorado’s 18th Judicial District, told Fox31 that it is planning to do the unthinkable and drop the charges against Galligan.

Galligan underwent a competency evaluation after his arrest and was found “mentally incompetent,” the DA’s office said.

Thank God that Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky disputed that opinion and told The Post that an effort to recall Democratic DA Amy Padden is well underway and will begin this week, ensuring that it will be successful.

“The conduct of the 18th DA over the past six months is beyond deplorable. This is simply the icing on the cake.”

“The progressive attitude will not be tolerated. While certain state laws highlight deeper issues in the state of Colorado, Amy Padden will be recalled for her part in not upholding the laws and punishing criminals.”

Sarah Galligan, the sister of this walking dead freak, told 9News in April 2024 that her brother has been in and out of jail for 12 years and that it’s not safe for the community or himself to be out on the streets.

She stated that her brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder at 16, was previously deemed unfit to stand trial, and was not institutionalized due to a shortage of beds in mental health facilities.

“It just really sucks he had to do something so eye-catching for everybody to see he’s not well, and he’s not OK to be out and be on his own.”

Amanda Morris, Solomon’s niece, added, “This has been like the fourth time that we’re sitting here thinking, ‘How the hell did he get released? Who’s letting him out?’ “

During his latest crime, Galligan was captured on surveillance video approaching students playing in a field just moments before they scattered and screamed, “Stranger danger!”

According to a police report, Galligan attempted to grab one of the children but lost his grip when he tripped over a white blanket he was carrying. The child later told the police that Galligan had white powder smeared on his face and smelled strongly of alcohol.

In an attempt to defend itself, the DA’s office said this:

“We have until the end of the month to do so. The defendant is being civilly committed to a mental health treatment. However, we are legally prohibited from discussing the details surrounding his competency beyond saying that he’s been found mentally incompetent to proceed.”

“When a defendant is found incompetent to proceed, we are legally obligated to dismiss charges. Our hands are tied based on the findings of competency. However, they are not being released to the public.”

Right.

The Twitter account “Libs of TikTok” has highlighted Galligan’s online activity, which includes posts indicating that he is identifying as transgender.

These revelations are occurring alongside the recent passage of new legislation in Colorado known as “Tiara’s Law,” which allows transgender individuals to keep certain parts of their criminal history private.

As a result, Galligan may eventually have the ability to hide his sex offender status and other past convictions from the public.

Unbelievably, as of now, Galligan is free and has not faced prosecution, but officials have noted that the case may be reconsidered if he is ever found competent.

It’s amusing how low-level district attorneys and judges continue to overstep their bounds in an attempt to stop Trump. Still, Padden refuses to do the right thing with this animal, Galligan.

We’re tired of the double standard. This wipe needs to be locked away for the rest of his life. Save your excuses, and Padden needs to be removed from office, so this type of injustice is no longer tolerated.
