America First Standard #12: Trump supports more Chinese students in America??
From an “America First” perspective, the 2nd Trump administration has failed to deliver on several key promises over the past 8 months. When it comes to immigration in particular, the Trump admin has let down its “America First” voting base.
So far, this presidential administration has NOT carried out the promised mass deportations that Trump promised on the campaign trail. In fact, the administration is on pace to deport less than 1.5 million illegal aliens over four years— a small fraction of the illegal aliens who arrived in America under the Biden administration.
With few deportations to show far, President Trump has also changed his tune when it comes to legal immigration and student visas. Earlier this week, President Trump told the press that he would allow SIX HUNDRED THOUSAND Chinese students into the American higher education system. For reference, there are already roughly 280 thousand Chinese students already attending American universities.
This reckless comment from President Trump upset many members of the MAGA wing of the Republican party. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, political commentator Steve Bannon, and others have called out Trump’s indefensible comments defending mass immigration. the economic replacement of American college graduates, and increased Chinese influence within the United States.
The Trump administration attempted to do some damage control in the media concerning Trump’s comments supporting more Chinese student visas in the United States. In fact, Fox News host Laura Ingraham bluntly asked Commerce Secretary and Tech oligarch Howard Lutnick “how is allowing 600k students from the Communist country of China putting ‘America First’?”
Secretary Lutnick’s out-of-touch response to Ingraham’s fair question says everything that you need to know about this current administration. The 2nd Trump administration is selling out native-born, American citizens for the interests of globalist corporations, Tech oligarchs, and the American higher education system. Big Business wants the cheaper foreign workers to keep down labor costs, and Higher Education wants the tuition dollars from foreign students.
Not to mention, there are numerous examples of Chinese nationals in the United States stealing U.S. technology, intellectual property, and classified information and then sending this information back to the CCP. Our nation is being ripped off by foreign nationals, but our supposedly “right wing” presidential administration still supports bringing in millions of legal immigrants and hundreds of thousands of foreign students.
Overall, President Trump and his 2nd administration’s soft views on student visas and foreign influence is a blatant betrayal of the “America First” movement. It’s high time for the Federal government to enact immigration policies that benefit the American people rather than replace them and their jobs with foreigners,
