Canadian Hypocrisy Exposed As Cities Try To Deny Christian Concerts

Canadian cities aren’t the only ones guilty of hypocrisy, but lately, Canada has taken center stage in the spotlight of insincerity regarding acceptance, particularly in the case of Sean Feucht and his Christian ministry/concerts.

Feucht is a musician and worship pastor who has performed worldwide, including at the White House. Despite those positive endorsements, Canada did not roll out the welcome mat for his ministry. On his latest North American tour, he had around a dozen shows planned. Still, upon his arrival in Halifax, Nova Scotia, last month for the first event in America’s northern neighbor, he learned that officials had shut down his concert.

Here’s where the blatant hypocrisy shows. According to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, “Permits for some of his shows have been revoked amid an outcry that his controversial views are being given a platform in public spaces.”

The CTV Canadian TV network reported that Feucht’s facility use has been revoked not only in Halifax, but also in Charlottetown, Nova Scotia; Moncton, New Brunswick; Quebec City and Gatineau in Quebec; and Vaughan, Ontario.

So, what are these “controversial views” that Feucht espouses that are so controversial?

“His support of U.S. President Donald Trump and his Make America Great Again, or MAGA, movement, and over comments he’s made about abortion, critical race theory, 2SLGBTQ+ rights and gender diversity.”

According to CTV, a spokesperson from Abbotsford expressed concerns about the potential presence of both protesters and counter-protesters. Of course, this is a totally bogus reason, after Canada has allowed Hamas protesters to burn the Canadian flag, chanting “death to Canada,” and it allows Sharia law events.

Coincidentally, often, the cancellations came “at the last second to purposefully sabotage the event.”

CBS Reported:

“The City of Montreal attempted to halt his July 25 performance at a church, but it went ahead as scheduled. The church, however, is now facing a $2,500 fine for hosting the event without a permit.”

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms called the maneuvers “a disturbing pattern of cities across Canada blocking access to performance venues for Christian musician Sean Feucht”. It said the organization’s lawyers are looking into the matter.

One of the famous lines from the movie Forest Gump is “Stupid is, as Stupid does.” So, you have to ask yourself, it’s so obvious that these city officials are bowing down to leftist whiners when it comes to Christian events, their arrogance has bloomed into outright stupidity.

Still, while officials were looking for ways to silence Feucht, Christian ingenuity, blended with some divine intervention, allowed an alternative location to materialize.

Feucht posted on X that in Halifax, a local farmer harvested his field and invited them to hold the event on his property. Then a similar thing happened in Manitoba.

This past week, Feucht posted:

“When the city of Halifax cancelled our first event and we had no place to go, a farmer HARVESTED his field to create a place where we could worship.”

“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.”

“Tonight we go back to a farm in Manitoba.”

Feucht is pleased that some motorists, inspired by his tour bus featuring the “Let Us Worship” show title, have decorated their own cars with faith statements like “Canada for Jesus.”

Canadian business coach and podcast host Karla Treadway posted a detailed review of the Manitoba show on social media, defending Feucht and criticizing the protesters and officials who have attempted to obstruct the band’s efforts. Her description of what she observed not only destroys the left’s narrative, but it also highlights the absurdity of the liberals’ obsession with the condemnation of Christian values and the promotion of alternative and perverted lifestyles, and the ever-present TDS.

Here is her post on X:

Well said by someone who attended a concert.

Wake up, Canada.
