In The Chicago Race For Stupid, We Declare Mayor Brandon Johnson The Winner
After Donald Trump reduced the Washington, D.C. crime rate by sending in the National Guard to assist local police, he verbally targeted other cities such as Chicago and New York as other places where he may do the same. This immediately triggered the liberals in each city, and in Chicago, Trump’s words initiated a race for the ultimate in stupidity.
Your contenders are JB Pritzker, Jabba the Hutt doppelganger and the governor of Illinois, Jill Ciminillo, who in her LinkedIn bio lists her specialties as blogging, reviewing cars, social media strategy, writing about anything, editing, proofreading, public speaking, coordinating web content, creating editorial calendars for print and online content, scripting and performing video content. Notice that she forgot to mention being a moron. Finally, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, who has somehow managed to make Lori Lightfoot, the nightmare mayor and Beetlejuice look-alike, seem just below average.
Pritzker was the early leader, but his offering was purely political and was spoken like a true politician. Basically, a blah, blah, blah speech where he, in typical fashion, tried to deny the truth by ignoring the crime issue.
“The State of Illinois at this time has received no requests or outreach from the federal government asking if we need assistance, and we have made no requests for federal intervention.
The safety of the people of Illinois is always my top priority. There is no emergency that warrants the President of the United States federalizing the Illinois National Guard, deploying the National Guard from other states, or sending active duty military within our own borders.
Donald Trump is attempting to manufacture a crisis, politicize Americans who serve in uniform, and continue abusing his power to distract from the pain he is causing working families.
We will continue to follow the law, stand up for the sovereignty of our state, and protect the people of Illinois.”
Ciminillo was my early personal favorite. Her blatant ignorance blasted Pritzker’s political denials easily into second place. Ciminillo is what some people refer to as an “Affluent White Female Liberal” AWFL. The dominant trait of these airheads is that they are so all consumed with themselves, that they are totally out of touch with the concerns of everyday Americans.
In a post on X, Ciminillo demonstrated her total lack of understanding of the crime issue and how others feel, by allowing her Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) to be displayed front and center.
Unbelievable. This perfectly exemplifies how these radical left lunatics will never give Trump credit. This nut job had her arm broken in a carjacking and still will not concede that there is a crime problem because that would imply Trump was right.
But our winner, in the Chicago race for stupidity, is Mayor Brandon Johnson. It was close, but he just edged out the cast wearing Ciminillo. Yesterday, Johnson released a statement that sounded a lot like Pritzker’s.
“We are in active communication with our counterparts at the County and the State as we prepare for any potential unconstitutional military deployments to Chicago. The Governor, the Cook County Board President, and I are in complete alignment: Chicago is not calling for a military occupation of our city. We are currently evaluating all of our legal options to protect the people of Chicago from unconstitutional federal overreach.
In Chicago, we have effectively reduced all forms of violent crime by doing what works: constitutional policing, violence prevention, and investing in our communities. This past year alone, we have seen a more than 30 percent reduction in homicides, a 35 percent reduction in robberies, and an almost 40 percent reduction in shootings. We need to keep building on this work.
No matter what happens, the City of Chicago will not waver. We are Chicago. We will not bend or cower, and we will never break.”
Like D.C.’s crime numbers, Johnson’s percentages seem to have received a good liberal massage, since we know that a figure he didn’t mention was that 78 people every day are victims of violent crime in the city.
Johnson should have stopped with his usual rhetoric. Still, he took it a step further when he referred to fighting crime as tyranny and intimated that if Trump tries to protect Chicago’s citizens with the National Guard, he will ask the city to rise up with him to fight Trump. Rise up is liberal code for riot, which, of course, despite the looting and fires, will be reported as “mostly peaceful.”
Given that Johnson, the mayor of the city, sank to the level of calling for additional violence instead of addressing the existing crime, we have declared him the winner.
