Leftists Can Put This Delusion On “ICE”

It was just a matter of time. We all knew it; the only question was when it would happen and what terminology the moronic left would choose to try to vilify. This is so pathetic that it’s laughable.

Celebrity chef and Huntington Beach City Councilman Andrew Gruel made a surprising announcement on social media that highlights how extreme the anti-border enforcement movement has become.

Gruel is the CEO and co-founder of American Gravy Restaurant Group, located in Huntington Beach, California, which includes Calico Fish House, Big Parm Pizza, Two Birds Chicken, Butterleaf, Lolo’s Tacos, and 101 Burger. He has also been a member of the Huntington Beach City Council since March 18, 2025, when he was appointed to fill a vacant seat on the council.

In a recent post on X, he exposed a ridiculous idea that some restaurants are trying to initiate as a way of protesting against the protection of America’s borders.

“There’s a push in restaurants now to stop calling ice cubes ‘ICE’ – they want to have everyone refer to it as ‘Frozen Cubes.’”

This is how delusional the radical left is. They want every day Americans to change their vocabulary because they can’t stand the idea that people who have entered our country illegally are being removed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.

As a restaurant owner, if you condone and succumb to this nonsense, it says one of two things about you. Either you are so weak-willed that you don’t have the guts to stand up to these idiots, or you agree with them, which makes you just as imbecilic as they are.

There is nothing political about ice cubes, just as there is nothing racial about saying White Christmas. This is nothing more than a group of people who love to stir up trouble where none exists. These are the same ones that scream at the sky because they’re upset that President Trump was elected.

These lunatics know that if someone says “ice” in a restaurant, they are not referencing the border patrols. They are talking about the frozen water that keeps things cold. This is nothing more than liberals trying to unjustly and unnecessarily force their will onto unsuspecting people for no justifiable reason other than to be a pain in the ass.

If any restaurants actually buy into this idiocy, and I seriously doubt there will be many, they will lose customers. People are sick and tired of being corrected when they haven’t done anything wrong and being lectured about things they don’t believe in. The left wants to make everything and anything political, and the public has had enough.

Kudos to Andrew Gruel for lampooning these fools and exposing their infantile stupidity. The left seems to think that everything that crosses their simplistic minds is a revelation that they need to decree as fact and enforce on everyone around them.

It’s well beyond time to stop humoring the Democrats and their mindless followers. We get it, you hate America, but that’s your problem, so stop trying to make the rest of us suffer by inflicting these ridiculous limitations on speech that has nothing to do with reality.

If saying “ice cubes” or “ice” offends you, I recommend you seek professional help. Still, don’t be surprised if, as you lie on the counselor’s couch, they don’t offer you an “ice” pack for your empty head.

Robert Frost got it right when, in a short poem, he equated fire with desire and Ice with hatred. It sounds like he had liberals in mind when he wrote:

“Fire and Ice
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.”

Remember, libs, Ice is nice and for destruction will suffice.
