Only Americans Should Vote In American Elections, A Concept Dems Hate
Close your eyes and imagine watching someone drop a handful of “Pick-Up-Sticks” onto a tile floor. That image is how Democrats perceive even the most straightforward and logical concept.
If something makes sense, they’re baffled by it. That said, if something is off-the-chart ridiculous, they fall in love with it, gather donations for it, and preach about it as though it was written in Sanskrit on the highest peak of Soro’s mountain.
For example, allowing only American citizens to vote in American elections, while adhering to basic election integrity rules, is one of the simplest and most straightforward principles. However, liberal Democrats can’t grasp the understanding that for every illegal vote that is cast, a hard-working American citizen’s vote is cancelled out.
That is not fantasy; that is reality, and if you are someone who votes for the Democratic Party, you should be aware that the only reason they want that to occur is for the power that comes from being in office. The problem is that once they gain power, everything they do from that point forward is self-serving. They don’t give a damn about the American people until the next election rolls around, and then they start diminishing the power of American votes all over again. It’s a vicious circle that plays on repeat every election cycle.
Need examples? Let’s start with the Elias Law Group filing another lawsuit—this time, challenging an Ohio law intended to prevent foreign nationals from voting in U.S. elections.
The Elias Law Group has filed a complaint on behalf of liberal “voter rights” organizations, arguing that Ohio’s new law requiring documented proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles threatens to disenfranchise thousands of eligible citizens.” However, the law does not do this, and the lawsuit—typical of the Elias Law Group’s sensationalist approach—may meet the same fate as a similar complaint they filed regarding election law in Wyoming.
Red Wine & Blue and the Ohio Alliance for Retired Americans claim that the law included in the legislature’s transportation funding bill violates the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) and the U.S. Constitution.
“HB 54’s new proof-of-citizenship requirement imposes unnecessary obligations to register to vote in violation of the NVRA. HB 54 violates the U.S. Constitution because it is impermissibly vague, giving no guidance as to what constitutes sufficient proof of United States citizenship.”
There is nothing vague about being an American citizen. It makes no difference if you have lived in this country for 50 years. If you came here illegally and never cared enough to obtain legal citizenship status, you cannot vote in an American election. The right to vote is based on legal citizenship; it is not a popularity contest. You could be a wonderful person, living a law-abiding life, and that’s great, congratulations, you’ve been blessed, but you still HAVE NO RIGHT TO VOTE IN ANY AMERICAN ELECTIONS!
Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose issued this statement in response to the lawsuit.
“Both federal law and the Ohio Constitution prohibit noncitizens from voting. But now dark money groups represented by D.C. operatives are challenging a law that prevents noncitizens from registering to vote at the BMV. We will win this case – just like we’ve fought off the other baseless actions that such groups have brought against us.”
Election officials in the neighboring state of Pennsylvania are equally determined to undermine the elections in that state. This week, the Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled that, although Pennsylvania law requires voters to sign and date the outer envelope of a mail-in ballot, and instructs counties to “set aside” ballots with missing or incorrect dates, counties should still count those ballots.
Let that sink in. This gives anyone who chooses to do so the opportunity to submit ballots at any time they feel like it. Another case of the Democrats’ credo of “Rules are for thee, but not for me.”
This is not a difficult ask. The outer envelope features a colorful box for voters to write the date they voted. Inside, the ballot is placed into an unmarked privacy envelope.
Proponents of the change claim that many voters either overlook the voting deadline or mistakenly write a date that is after the deadline. For instance, if election day is November 4th, a voter might accidentally write that they submitted their ballot on November 6th. Only ballots received by 8 p.m. on election day are counted.
In the 2022 general election, more than 10,000 ballots were discarded due to failure to meet the date requirement, according to the opinion.
“The date requirement seems to hamper rather than facilitate election efficiency. Discarding thousands of ballots every election is not a reasonable trade-off in view of the date requirement’s extremely limited and unlikely capacity to detect and deter fraud.”
Whoa! Having a simple rule as to when a ballot is considered late hampers election efficiency? It’s a rule, plain and simple. Have you ever noticed that when it benefits Democrats, it’s ok to dumb everything down to ridiculous levels?
Everything has rules. Is it OK for a basketball or hockey shot to count during a timeout or after the game ends? Those rules are in place to uphold the integrity of a simple game, but Democrats want to destroy the integrity of our most sacred right because it’s another way to sneak in illegal and invalid votes.
Following the adoption of universal mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania, Democrats actively encouraged voters to take advantage of this option. They went door-to-door to promote mail-in voting, while Republicans expressed concerns about the security of these ballots. As a result, in the 2022 elections, Democrats significantly outperformed Republicans in mail-in voting, leading to victories in several races, including the governor’s race and the flipping of a long-held Republican Senate seat (formerly held by Pat Toomey) to Democrat John Fetterman. By 2024, more Republicans began to utilize mail-in voting, although it remained a preferred method for Democrats.
Josh Findlay, the director of the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s National Election Protection Project and the former national director of election integrity for the Republican National Committee, recently discussed why he believes mail-in voting is “the least secure method of casting a ballot.”
Findlay wrote for The Federalist:
“Unlike in-person voting, where safeguards such as voter ID verification are standard and supported by a majority of the people, mail-in ballots are susceptible to fraud, misdelivery, and errors. Ballots can be intercepted and fraudulently cast, lost in transit, or even altered without the voter’s knowledge. In addition, signature verification — a key safeguard — is far from foolproof.”
Democrats despise integrity. It scares them. Which is exactly why conservatives push so hard for fair elections, while Democrats do everything they can to subvert them.
Americans are the only people allowed to vote in American elections, provided, of course, they vote within the rules.
These rules are not hard, that is, of course, unless you try to bend or break them.
