Hunt, others claim Dems have been inciting violence against Republicans for years

While many Democrats have spoken out against political violence and condemned the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, the political Left is responsible for his death, many Republicans argue.

Vice President JD Vance said no unity was possible in America as long as the “radical Left” and Democrats espouse and incite violence, The Center Square reported.

U.S. Rep. Wesley Hunt, a Republican from Houston, said Democrats blaming Republicans for political violence would be held accountable. He said, “You will NOT gaslight your way out of this. NOT this time.

“The Democrat Party must finally look in the mirror, condemn the political violence they’ve unleashed, and apologize for poisoning an entire generation into believing conservatives are ‘fascist threats’ to democracy,” arguing that Kirk was assassinated “because their propaganda worked.”

Hunt also posted a video compilation of Democrats appearing to incite violence against Republicans. It includes former President Joe Biden stating, “MAGA Republicans have made their choice, they embrace anger. They thrive on chaos. They live not in the light of truth but in the shadow of lies.” It includes California Gov. Gavin Newsom saying, Democrats are “fighting fire with fire. I’m going to punch these sons of bitches in the mouth.” Newsom condemned Kirk’s murder.

The video also shows Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-MA, saying, “You can only push people so far and then they start to take matters into their own hands,” while also depicting violent riots, looting and arson committed by far-Left groups burning U.S. cities.

It includes a video clip of former CNN commentator Don Lemon stating, “the biggest terrorist threat in this country is white men” and a clip of actor Johnny Depp asking an audience, “When was the last time an actor assassinated a president,” while also showing an image of comedian Kathy Griffin holding a prop that looks like Trump’s decapitated head.

It includes videos of pop star Madonna stating, “I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House;” Hollywood actor Robert DeNiro saying of Trump, “I’d like to punch him in the face;” and U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Dallas, stating of Trump, “This dude has to be knocked over the head like hard.”

Trump is the only U.S. president to survive two assassination attempts in U.S. history.

Encounter News published a video compilation of media pundits and Democratic politicians calling Republicans “Hitler,” “existential threats to democracy,” “fascist dictators” over a period of eight years. It includes Tiffany Cross, cofounder of The Beat DC saying, “we have to start calling Trump supporters racist” and the “MAGA symbol has come to represent the new Nazi symbol;” Jason Johnson, The Grio contributor, former Homeland Security Chief of Staff Miles Taylor, and multiple MSNBC commentators calling Republicans terrorists, jihadists, white nationalists, a fascist threat, a death cult, an authoritarian cult, “party of weirdos, party of dupes, party of knuckleheads, party of freaks.”

It also includes former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., saying in August 2020 that the “domestic enemies to our voting system are right at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with their allies in Congress;” Gov. Tim Walz, D-Minn., and U.S. Rep. Stephen Lynch, D-MA, saying ICE agents were “modern day Gestapo;” U.S. Rep. Kweisi Mfume, D-MD, comparing recent Department of Homeland Security posters to Nazi propaganda; and multiple MSNBC commentators referring to Trump as Hitler, a threat, autocrat, monarch, dictator, autocrat, “American won’t survive a second Trump term,” among other claims.

Hollywood actor James Woods posted a one-minute video compilation of Democratic comments about Republicans, saying, “here is the roadmap to Charlie Kirk’s assassination.”

It includes multiple elected Democratic officials claiming Trump is a fascist, including former Vice President Kamala Harris, U.S. Reps. Alexandria Ortiz-Cortez, Eric Slalwell and Jamie Raskin, and Gov. Walz. One of the bullets of Kirk’s alleged assassin was inscribed, “Catch this, fascist!,” authorities said.

On Monday, Vance, a friend of Kirk’s, said, unity can only be reached when Americans “acknowledge that political violence is unacceptable, and when we work to dismantle the institutions that promote violence and terrorism in our own country.” He said the Trump administration is taking action towards this end but also encouraged Americans to call out those celebrating political assassination.

“We don’t believe in political violence, but we do believe in civility and there is no civility in the celebration of political assassination.” The best way to honor Kirk’s legacy “is to shine the light of truth like a torch in the very darkest places,” Vance said.
