Office Depot Needs To Learn That You Can’t Apologize Away Deliberate Ignorance

The left has a unique, socially unacceptable racket going on. They abuse conservatives with some idiotic stance or politically motivated policy, but when they get caught, they issue an apology, maybe fire a moron or two, and move on, thinking they have done the right thing.

All of their apologies ring hollow because it’s clear that had they not been caught, nothing would have changed. The left believes they are entitled, and with that entitlement comes the right to abuse Republicans and conservatives, and every time they pull off one of these slights, they put a notch in their fascist belts and see themselves as social warriors.

Democrats and liberals see themselves as superior to conservatives and believe they need to impose their will on them any time they can. They do this on both big and small issues. On local issues and national ones.

Yesterday, an Office Depot store in Kalamazoo, Michigan, decided that it would flex its liberal hatred by refusing to print a poster to announce a prayer vigil for Charlie Kirk.

Matthew DePerno, an attorney and Republican activist, reported that the Kalamazoo County Republican Party placed an order for a poster at Office Depot in Portage, MI, at 2:24 p.m. on Friday. This poster was intended for a vigil honoring Kirk, scheduled for that evening. However, around 5:30 p.m., DePerno stated that a print supervisor named Beryl called the organizers to inform them that the order would not be completed because the poster was considered “propaganda.”

Propaganda? A poster for a prayer vigil is propaganda? That stance could only be hatched in the twisted, evil mind of radical leftists.

I hate stereotyping, but seriously, can’t you tell by just one look at these two mental midgets that they are full-blown radicals? This is why giving power, no matter how small, to any leftist is dangerous.

“Hey @officedepot @OfficeMax, do you think this is acceptable?” DePerno wrote on X, posting a video taken inside the store and a receipt for the canceled order.

He then shared that the group approached FedEx, where the staff apologized and printed the poster for no charge.

By Friday evening, DePerno’s post had accumulated more than 100,000 views. That response prompted Office Depot to reach out to DePerno, informing him that the employee involved had been terminated and to issue an apology.

In a statement to the New York Post, a company spokesperson said:

“The behavior displayed by our associate is completely unacceptable and insensitive, violates our company policies, and does not reflect the values we uphold at Office Depot. We sincerely apologize to the customer affected and to our community for this regrettable situation.”

“Upon learning of the incident, we immediately reached out to the customer to address their concerns and seek to fulfill their order to their satisfaction. We have also launched an immediate internal review and, as a result, the associate involved is no longer with the organization.”

Libs of TikTok posted on X:

“HOLY CRAP. A customer put in an order and paid for a poster for a vigil for Charlie. @officedepot REFUSED to print it because they said it’s ‘propaganda.’ WTF @officedepot?!”

Another X user who goes by the handle “Freebird USMC” posted:

“@officedepot could have learned something from this. Now they’ll learn something else #boycottofficedepot.”

I agree with “Freebird USMC.” Office Depot hired these fools and turned them loose on their customers. It’s fair to assume that this isn’t the first person or group that they have wronged. It’s in their radical DNA to espouse their hatred at every opportunity.

This time, because of the sensitivity and national scope of Charlie’s murder, they got caught. Otherwise, their dehumanizing behavior would have gone on unchecked.

These “pat on the head type apologies” hold very little value at this time. The left has gone totally off the rails, and a simple “oops, we’re sorry” doesn’t cut it.

This Office Depot has demonstrated a climate of bigotry toward conservatives, which is more than likely prevalent and accepted throughout the entire organization. Until they PROVE otherwise, boycott Office Depot and do business elsewhere.
