Courtroom Terrorism Continues
Lady Justice represents the impartiality, fairness, and authority of the law through her well-known attributes: the blindfold, which symbolizes impartiality; the scales, which signify the weighing of evidence; and the sword, which represents enforcement and authority. Together, these elements illustrate the principle that justice is blind to status, requires careful consideration of facts, and possesses the power to act and enforce outcomes.
The definition of justice is all about being fair and impartial when determining guilt. Once guilt has been established, justice proceeds to the punitive stage, where punishment for the crime is determined.
That’s the way American courts of law are supposed to conduct themselves. Maddeningly, leftist justice has now evolved into courtroom terrorism.
It was dangerous enough when police forces were reduced by liberal whining that caused police departments to be defunded. Then liberal judges refused to keep criminals who were arrested in custody with no bail required. This brought about revolving door justice platforms in cities with Democratic mayors and snowflake judges, further endangering law-abiding citizens.
The final notch in the liberal judicial belt is when, after a jury has convicted a criminal, the acting judge refuses to administer just punishment. What good is Lady Justice if she peeks out from under her blindfold to see who she is punishing and then throws away her sword of enforcement based on who or what she sees?
That is the question we all should be asking, and the very question Democrats deliberately ignore.
Recently, US District Judge Deborah Boardman of the US District of Maryland passed a ridiculously light sentence because the convicted felon was a transgender. During her lengthy and meaningless diatribe as to why she would issue a slap on the wrist to someone who attempted to murder a Supreme Court Judge was absurd. Boardman appeared prepared for a potential appeal as she conducted an hour-long sentencing hearing in Greenbelt on October 3rd. She went into great detail about how she weighed each of the factors she needed to consider in sentencing Nicholas John Roske, who was pretending to be a woman.
Roske, 29, of Simi Valley, California, was sentenced today to 97 months (8 years) in federal prison to be followed by a lifetime of supervised release for attempting to kill Kavanaugh. The Department of Justice advocated for a sentence of at least 30 years to life.
Attorney General Pam Bondi was not amused:
“The attempted assassination of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was a disgusting attack against our entire judicial system by a profoundly disturbed individual. The Department of Justice will be appealing the woefully insufficient sentence imposed by the district court, which does not reflect the horrific facts of this case.”
Kash Patel added:
“Nicholas Roske will now pay the price for attempting to assassinate a Supreme Court Justice in a violent plot to alter the court’s composition and its rulings. Violence against federal judges or other public officials is unacceptable and will be met by the full force of the law. The FBI will work aggressively with our law enforcement partners to detect and stop these schemes and protect our nation.”
“Politically motivated violence has no place in our society,” said U.S. Attorney Kelly O’Hayes for the District of Maryland. “The attempt to assassinate a Supreme Court Justice is an extreme, unconscionable act that must be met with the full weight of the law. We, along with our federal partners, are committed to relentlessly pursuing, prosecuting, and punishing anyone involved in planning and executing these brazen, violent crimes. Violence against others will not be tolerated.”
Assistant Attorney General for National Security John A. Eisenberg stated:
“Roske flew across the country armed with a gun and zip ties, prepared to kill at least one sitting Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States because of how he imagined the Justice would rule. No public servant, let alone a Justice, should have to consider his safety or that of his family in discharging his duty. Even in failure, Roske’s plot violated that basic tenet and threatened judicial independence, a critical component of the rule of law.”
Not to be outdone, a North Carolina judge, appointed by Democratic Governor Roy Cooper, ruled that a man who brandished a knife at state troopers guarding a Donald Trump motorcade last year will not serve any time in prison for his crime.
The animal in question is Leif Brynolf Johnson, a 55-year-old wipe, who, during President Donald Trump’s visit to western North Carolina on Oct. 21, 2024, in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, decided to show his true self.
While officers coordinated security for Trump’s motorcade, Johnson caused a public disturbance. He yelled and confronted those around him. When he approached an elderly veteran in a wheelchair, bystanders intervened to help.
One of the bystanders was a 12-year-old boy. Johnson yelled at the boy, from only inches away, and spat in his face.
Mississippi State Highway Patrol troopers who witnessed the incident attempted to escort Johnson from the scene, but he pulled out a 4-inch stainless steel kitchen knife from his waistband.
Officers wrestled Johnson to the ground and pried the knife from his hand.
Assistant District Attorney Kyle Sherard stated:
“The defendant’s behavior endangered a child, threatened peaceful citizens, and resulted in a dangerous confrontation with Mississippi State Troopers that, fortunately, due to their professionalism, did not escalate further. We are grateful for the assistance of Mississippi State Troopers who assisted local law enforcement agencies in the wake of Tropical Storm Helene.”
Yesterday, after a four-day trial, he was convicted on all counts, according to station WLOS. He was facing consecutive prison sentences of 30 months to 48 months on each of the felonies, or a range of five to eight years in prison.
However, None of that mattered to the judge, Jacqueline Grant. Instead, she suspended the prison sentences and imposed a three-year term of supervised probation. Additionally, she assigned Johnson a 15-day jail stay, which is to be served at the discretion of his probation officer.
There are no rational explanations for either judge desecrating American justice in this way other than to satisfy their own hideous ideological fantasies. These leftist morons will allow criminals to walk the streets rather than incarcerate them for their disgusting acts of violence.
If liberal judges will not administer true justice in accordance with accepted guidelines of the law, then they should be disbarred and removed from the bench.
Boardman and Grant are courtroom terrorists passing judgment on other criminals. The idea of one hand washing the other doesn’t work when the water is from a filthy leftist sewer.
Both need to be impeached sooner rather than later. Otherwise, these injustices will never end as long as they remain viable.
