Democrats’ TDS Spreads To The Dance Floor

Democrats can’t stand the fact that once again, it’s President Trump who’s getting things done. OMG, the feigned outrage and disingenuous ranting about the new ballroom at the Whitehouse has reached a crescendo, and the nonsense around this fabricated illusion that liberals want the public to believe needs to end.

One of my favorite idiotic claims came from the Wicked Witch of the Left herself, Hillary Clinton. I’m sure everyone can remember how they classed up the place.

Remember Everything When It Comes To The Clintons. She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor. After $80 million of taxpayer money was spent, Starr’s investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs.

She acts so concerned about the East Wing, but she didn’t give a damn when Bill was getting oral sex in the Oval Office and disgracefully using the same intern as a humidor.

Hillary’s devious game plan resulted in Bill losing his license to practice law for ‘lying under oath’ to a grand jury and then his subsequent impeachment by the House of Representatives. Hillary avoided indictment for perjury and obstruction of justice during the Starr investigation by repeating, “I do not recall,” “I have no recollection,” and “I don’t know” a total of 56 times while under oath.

When she was Secretary of State, she presided over $6 billion lost at the State Department, sold uranium to the Russians through her faux charity, as well as other “pay to play” schemes of the Clinton Foundation, illegally deleted public records, including smashing phones, and murdered an Ambassador, to name just a few.

After leaving the White House, Hillary was forced to return an estimated $200,000 worth of White House furniture, china, and artwork she had stolen.

Yet this snake in the grass thinks her opinion matters. Posting on X:

“It’s not his house. It’s your house. And he’s destroying it.”

She obviously has a selective memory.

Then there is another classic loser, Eric Swalwell, who is so eaten up with TDS that I would not be surprised if he has a picture of Trump in his wallet to curse at. Swalwell is so insane that he posted on X:

“Don’t even think of seeking the Democratic nomination for president unless you pledge to take a wrecking ball to the Trump Ballroom on DAY ONE.”

This ballroom is being privately funded; it isn’t costing the taxpayers a dime. Yet Swalwell is so consumed by his hatred for Trump that he advocates for destroying it.

Even the liberal Wall Street Journal came to grips with the reality of the situation, writing:

“Privately, many alumni of the Biden and Obama White Houses acknowledge the long-overdue need for an event space like what Trump is creating. It is absurd that tents need to be erected on the South Lawn for state dinners, and VIPs are forced to use porta-potties.”

“The State Dining Room seats 140—the East Room seats about 200. Trump says the ballroom at the center of his 90,000-square-foot addition will accommodate 999 guests. The next Democratic president will be happy to have this.”

The outlet even described some of the bureaucratic red tape that slows construction down to a crawl.

“After a fence jumper got inside the White House in 2014, it was obvious that better perimeter fencing needed to be installed. But doing so involved five public meetings of the National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC) over two years, as members took pains to ensure the fencing complied with environmental rules. Construction didn’t begin until July 2019.”

“Or consider the modest Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial near the National Air and Space Museum. Congress authorized its creation in 1999. Architect Frank Gehry was selected in 2009. The NCPC rejected Gehry’s initial design proposal in 2014 before approving a revised plan the next year. The Commission of Fine Arts gave its approval in 2017. The memorial wasn’t opened until late 2020. By contrast, Eisenhower planned and executed D-Day in about six months.”

“Trump joins a long list of presidents who have left their imprint on the White House. Theodore Roosevelt replaced greenhouses to construct the West Wing. William Howard Taft constructed the first Oval Office in 1909. Richard M. Nixon converted a swimming pool into the press briefing room in 1970. The modern East Wing wasn’t even built until World War II to cover up an underground bunker. Harry S. Truman gutted the White House interior and added the balcony that bears his name. Purists decried it. Now it’s a hallmark.”

“The White House cannot simply be a museum to the past. Like America, it must evolve with the times to maintain its greatness. Strong leaders reject calcification. In that way, Trump’s undertaking is a shot across the bow at NIMBYs everywhere.”

The media is having a great time calling the construction project “Trump’s Ballroom.” However, future presidents will enjoy it and get more use out of the space than he will.

The “People’s House” is better than tents and porta-potties, but it took President Trump to cut through the red tape and to get it done.
