Time To Rename “Build A Bear” To “Stuff Your Bear” After Employee Humiliates 16-Year-Old Girl
“Woke” is a societal snake that has many faces. It shows up in many forms, some are deceptive, and some are openly obvious, but all wokeism is born out of hatred, stupidity, arrogance, or a blend of all three.
At a Build-A-Bear store located in Tukwila, Washington, a liberal hellhole which is located just south of Seattle, a punk employee decided he was going to inflict his will on a 16-year-old girl because, like all of these woke idiots, they think every thought that passes through their empty head is gospel.
First, I had no idea that Build-A-Bear stores still existed. They seemed like a cute little idea that, by now, should have gone the way of the Dodo Bird. That said, the only charm these stores offer is the opportunity to pick out a stuffed animal and then name it for a special person who means something to the buyer.
Let’s face it, a Build-A-Bear store employee is not going to become a brain surgeon at any time in the future. All these people are expected to do is be kind to anyone who enters the store, assist them in choosing a stuffed animal, and then prepare it according to the individual’s specifications. The most critical specification is the choice of a “Birth Certificate” that carries the chosen name that the person decides upon.
Google’s AI Overview of Build-A-Bear stores is:
Build-A-Bear stores are interactive retail destinations where customers, primarily children, can personally create their own customized stuffed animals by selecting a plush “furry friend,” stuffing it, adding a heart and scent, and dressing it in various outfits and accessories. These experiences aim to create personalized keepsakes and celebrate special occasions, transforming the process of buying a toy into an engaging and memorable event.
Really, not in Tukwila, Washington, where woke stupidity overrules common sense and decency, and is replaced by arrogance, narcissism, and unjustified indignation.
Children across the country have been visiting Build-A-Bear stores to create stuffed animals named after Kirk, who was assassinated on September 10. A 16-year-old girl named Evi McCormick wanted to participate in this trend and honor Kirk with her own stuffed animal. However, she told Seattle’s KING5 that she was denied that opportunity.
McCormick shared with the outlet that she and her friends were at the mall on September 26 when she decided to make a bear in honor of the founder of Turning Point USA. After finishing her custom bear, she requested a birth certificate to name it “Charlie Kirk.” However, this request caused the liberal snowflake waiting on her to hit “tilt.”
“She just didn’t agree with it. She didn’t support it, and she told me, ‘We’re not doing this,’ folded it up in a force and threw it away.”
McCormick was so upset with the employee that she gave a friend her credit card to pay for the bear and left the store.
Amber, McCormick’s mother, shared with the outlet that she spoke with someone at corporate headquarters for nearly an hour. After the conversation, she was offered a $20 gift card, which usually doesn’t cover the price of a standard-sized stuffed animal in the store.
McCormick’s mother explained that Build-A-Bear told her they would train employees in the Seattle area to avoid bringing politics into the workplace.
Oh Boy, where to start. This is a store where people go to buy stuffed animals. That is the entire description of what takes place at these locations. Yet despite the simplicity of these transactions, they have an employee who humiliates a 16-year-old customer because of her own sick, woke biases.
As if that weren’t bad enough, the company offers a paltry $20 gift certificate and a weak promise to train its employees to do better. Frankly, that isn’t good enough.
The arrogant punk who refused to honor this young woman’s request needs to be fired. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of reaction from anyone, anywhere, far less in a retail store where their only job is to honor the customer’s request.
Additionally, a person’s dignity is worth a great deal more than $20, and a store that sells stuffed bears cannot compensate for that with a store credit. In my opinion, this is lawsuit territory; otherwise, woke companies like this will never learn that their opinion isn’t the only opinion, and disrespecting others is not an option.
I’m shocked that McCormick actually paid for this disgraceful display of ignorance. It’s time for Build-A-Bear to become known as “Stuff Your Bear.” After all, they earned it.
