Destroying Thousands Of Jobs In The North Sea For No Reason At All

“The UK government has confirmed it will end new oil and gas exploration in the North Sea, making it the world’s largest economy to do so. This decision is part of the North Sea Future Plan, which includes a ban on new offshore and onshore oil and gas licensing in England, fulfilling a key manifesto promise. However, the government will allow limited oil and gas production through “tie-back” projects linked to existing fields, provided no new exploration is involved. To support this transition, the government will introduce Transitional Energy Certificates to enable such production and has committed £20 million to establish a North Sea Jobs Service to support workers in transitioning to new industries.”

They have destroyed thousands of jobs then set aside 20 million pounds to retrain high skilled oil workers to stack shelves in Tescos, if they are lucky.

We are also paying Norway 40 billion a year for oil and gas from the North Sea that we refuse to extract.

Can we finally, finally just say that Labour are to working people what Harold Shipman was to trusting old ladies? Can we finally put to bed forever the Thatcher killed the mines shit when even there Labour PMs closed more mines than she did?

Can we finally understand that this countries steel industry, it’s car industry, it’s fishing industry, it’s agricultural sector, its manufacturing industries, its oil industry, its gas industry, its shipping industry, everything we built, everything we made, was primarily destroyed by the party that began by telling everyone it was the party of the working man?

Can we finally understand what it means when middle class cunts take over a party and it only represents students, clueless academics, immigrants and foreigners?

Can we understand that a country where there are no jobs except working for the State funded NHS is a country that’s never going to survive?

Can se understand that when your politicians serve the EU and are obsessed with pleasing it or returning to it they are signalling that they want what’s left of your economy controlled from abroad to the benefit of other nations and the detriment of our own people?

Can we understand that ‘champions’ of the Left see us as slaves more fully, more completely and more ruthlessly than the old aristocracy did, which generally didn’t invite other people to rape our kids while we pay for them to be here.

And that you can raise the minimum wage all you like and just like attacking the rich and taxing at insane levels all it does is destroy jobs, destroy opportunity, drive money abroad and set us on the path to being Venezuela?

The great lie of socialism and communism is that it will give you more,when always, always the point of socialism and communism is to make sure you have nothing.

People on the Left are NEVER on the Left because they are compassionate, or kind, or because they want to help people, or give them bribes and gifts. It’s not generosity at all. It’s not even economic illiteracy.

They actually LOVE taking things away from people, they LOVE denying things, they LOVE reducing choice, freedom, opportunity. Because every time they do this, they are in CONTROL. When jobs are lost, when economies crash, when yet again leftist policy creates a fucking disaster….thats not their failure. It’s their success.

One of the funniest things about the whole Handmaid’s Tale stuff is that Puritans (like Nazis) could much more accurately be understand as creatures of the Left, as in the Puritan case proto examples of the same dour, controlling, humourless, fanatical insistence on comtrol of all things and denial of all freedom.

All dress the same? Suppress individualism? Tell people they can’t sing, dance, play, celebrate, talk, think, enjoy themselves, tell jokes, except in proscribed and controlled ways that have to be ideological, have to be linked to a fanatical message? The Right were the Cavaliers, the supporters of tradition but individualist, with flair, the people who might just dress or think differently from each other. Puritans frowned on individualism and lectured on greed and pleasure. Puritans believed in strictly controlled language and thought. Look up the Levellers and understand that if modern designations can be applied, the Puritans were on the Left. Puritanism was the radical and revolutionary, not the traditional and settled.

That sole allowed pleasure in taking things away, for the greater good. That’s shared by a 17th century Puritan and a 20th century Maoist and a 21st century progressive. That’s what had the time of its modern life during COVID. It’s why the hair-shirt religious substitute of Climate Change appeals to them so much. Because that too demands that things must be taken away, things must be reduced, people must accept less and enjoy less and own less and have less.

And being the one to tell others that and enforce it is what they love. It’s what gets them hard as stick of rock. People think that the promised utopia is the aim. It never is. Never. It’s the control on the road to the utopia that never appears. That’s the draw.

That’s the intoxicating thing. That’s the real aim.

This is why no amount of failure, no number of times it ends in disaster, will dissuade them. You’re telling a sado-masochist that whips are bad.
