Zohran Mamdani, the mayor-elect of New York City, has appointed Elle Bisgaard-Church as his top adviser at City Hall. Bisgaard-Church, who is affiliated with the Democratic Socialists of America, is known as the “chief architect” of Mamdani’s controversial plan to replace NYPD officers with social workers for handling non-violent 911 calls.
The heavily criticized proposal was developed by Bisgaard-Church, a California native with an Ivy League education and a relatively new entrant to the political scene. On Monday, Mamdani appointed her as his chief adviser again while he leads New York City’s City Hall. She previously held the same position during his campaign and throughout his time in the state assembly.
According to CBS News, Bisgaard-Church has been credited with playing a key role in conveying Mamdani’s far-fetched delusions and lies to voters. The campaign staff referred to her as the “chief architect” behind Mamdani’s Department of Community Safety proposal.
The proposal for the Department of Community Safety aims to replace police officers with mental health professionals to handle non-life-threatening emergencies, particularly in subway stations. Bisgaard-Church reportedly consulted with mental health experts, public safety officials from other cities, and former New York City Police Department (NYPD) Chief of Department Rodney Harrison during the development of this initiative. According to a campaign proposal on Mamdani’s website, the new department is expected to cost around $1.1 billion.
In addition to leading Mamdani’s often-criticized Department of Community Safety proposal, Bisgaard-Church played a crucial role in establishing weekly standing meetings with the New York City DSA chapter throughout the campaign. This initiative aimed to involve the leadership of the groups that supported Mamdani’s victory.
In a feature interview last month, ahead of the upcoming mayoral election, a former student of Swarthmore College, a private liberal arts institution, and Columbia University, an Ivy League school, expressed her motivations in comparison to those of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).
She said, “I feel a deep sense of shame every day living in a place where we allow people to sleep on concrete at night. I truly believe it doesn’t have to be this way.”

Bisgaard-Church told New York City and State:
“It represents political choice. The place where I have seen that shared sense of rage at such a moral failure has been in a handful of movement organizations, including New York City DSA.”
Seeing five democratic-socialist candidates win their 2020 primaries in local races in Brooklyn and Queens initially inspired Bisgaard-Church to apply for a role on Mamdani’s team while he was a state representative, according to her feature in City & State.
She came to New York City through a public affairs fellowship. Still, Bisgaard-Church initially thought she would end up working at a government agency after a few stints at various nonprofits in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
Instead, she can live out her leftist communist dream. She is the gatekeeper for the phony wizard of New York. Unlike the wizard in the famous movie “The Wizard of OZ” who was exposed when the curtain was pulled back only once, Mamdani will be exposed constantly as his bright red communist curtain is pulled back time after time, revealing the folly of his delusional visions.
His first reality check didn’t take long to land. Kathy Hochul, a leftist radical in her own right, apparently can still do rudimentary math.

“New York Governor Kathy Hochul pushed back Saturday against socialist mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s plan to make Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) bus rides free.”
“I cannot set forth a plan right now that takes money out of a system that relies on the fares of the buses and the subways. But can we find a path to make it more affordable for people who need help? Of course, we can,” Hochul said during a press conference.”
Translation: Her last sentence was the parachute to let this communist clown down easily. What she really means is “No Way.”
I have to give Hochul, begrudgingly, a slight tip of the hat here. She is a leftist loon, absolutely, but if this were California, Newsom would have shrugged his shoulders and thought, “What the hell, let’s give it a try.”
The cost of this, the first of many debacles proposed by this communist ex-rapper, is $700 million. A giveaway no city can afford, especially one as financially strapped as the “Red Apple.”
New York voters have inadvertently given the rest of the country a litmus test that will demonstrate their folly. Mamdani, supposedly, was able to mentally seduce younger voters, who were already indoctrinated to believe that capitalism was responsible for all of their problems and that socialism/communism was the antidote.
This is just one of the consequences of Democrats and liberals infiltrating our school systems from as early as grade school all the way through our universities.
Mamdani will fail, and he will fail big time. The problem is that rational people learn from their mistakes, while irrational people do not. So even in failure, these liberal zombies will blame someone else and continue to be driven by irrational hatred and a sense of entitlement.
Vampires can be neutralized by sunlight or a stake through the heart, and it takes a silver bullet or a silver club to stop a werewolf. Regular zombies need to be shot in the head, but since these Democrats and liberals have empty heads, that doesn’t apply here.
The only way to eliminate this scourge is by voting them out of political office, the judicial system, school boards, corporate boardrooms, and anywhere Democrats and liberals have any power whatsoever.
Prayer will ultimately end this scourge. Good eventually always triumphs over evil.
