Woke Leftist Threats and Bullying bring America to the Brink of a Nervous Breakdown

There’s been a lot of predictions of a civil war in America coming from many quarters, but I don’t see it happening for a variety of reasons. As a nation, we can’t agree on a lot, but the one area of consensus is that if there is a shooting war, the country would suffer a level of destruction from which it might never recover.

It’s a strange kind of tension. Our own internal version of Mutually Assured Destruction.

So instead, in all likelihood, we’ll keep slip-sliding down the path we’re on. Ultimately, even without a shooting war, we may end up in economic ruin anyway, especially if Democrats refuse to cut spending in a meaningful way. Yet, in the meantime, we’ll keep doing what we’re doing. That means common-sense patriots trying to keep the ship afloat, while deranged woke leftists try to sink it on purpose.

It places normal people trying to build happy, productive and prosperous lives in a kind of permanent fight/flight response.

Any psychologist will tell you that someone who is under continual stress will eventually suffer a variety of long-term health consequences, including cardiovascular system damage, immune system compromise, digestive system disorders, mental health issues, cognitive decline, sleep disturbances and substance abuse.

Sound familiar? With all the continued advances in medicine, our life expectancy hasn’t moved much since 2010.

Woke Leftist Relentless Threats of Violence and Bullying

As I identified in a previous article, the ultimate goal of the woke leftist movement is to undermine, destroy and replace the foundational pillars of American democracy. The strategy for achieving these objectives is fairly simple: intimidation, bullying, threats and violence in that order.

Leftists understand that a society on edge can be manipulated. The human condition is to seek out peace, comfort and security. Once those essentials are established, a person can move to the next level of pursuing happiness and joy through work, family, leisure and hobbies.

Have you noticed how leftists work tirelessly to disrupt those pursuits? If you’re driving to work, they might glue themselves to the road or take it over so you can’t pass for hours. Sporting events, movies, theater and musicals are now ripe venues for displays of leftist causes and lecturing a disinterested public about guilt and grievances.

From Obama Forward the Intimidation Escalated

Remember when it was discovered that Barack Obama was using the IRS to intimidate his political opponents? Under Lois Lerner, the IRS developed “Be On the Lookout” (BOLO) lists that targeted conservative groups based on specific names or policy positions that ran contrary to the goals and objectives of the state. If you got out of line and became a threat to the agenda, you’d get an audit. Even though it was a massive scandal, and some conservative groups were paid off, no one went to jail. In the end, the IRS apologized.

Whoopty crap.

In hindsight, the IRS scandal seems like small potatoes.

Since then, leftists have engaged in a silent coup against a sitting president. They filed eight bogus lawsuits in an attempt to bankrupt the leader of the opposition and put him in jail. They were successful in putting eight other high-profile members of the opposition, and Trump associates, in prison. Yet, all that wasn’t enough, so from the leftist point of view, it was time to ratchet up the pressure on the American public.

Threats of Retribution When Leftists Take Back Power

Leftist leaders continually blow their dog whistles to add fuel to the rage inside the large, mentally unstable element in the movement. Since 2023, this call for violence has resulted in three attempts on President Trump’s life and a number of politically motivated attacks, including:

* Tyler Robinson, who assassinated Charlie Kirk

* Luigi Mangione, who murdered the CEO of a major health insurance company

* Shamsud-Din Jabbar, who rammed a pickup truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans

* Anti-ICE protesters, including Antifa affiliates, who threw Molotov cocktails at DHS/ICE officers in Los Angeles

* An armed group in tactical gear ambushed an ICE detention facility in Alvarado, Texas

* Elias Rodriguez, who assassinated two Israeli embassy staff members

* A pro-immigrant activist who reversed his vehicle and ran over an ICE officer, nearly crushing him in Homestead, Florida

* A gunman who yelled “Free Palestine” before fatally shooting a man at a country club in New Hampshire

* Violent protests against a Turning Point USA rally where a vendor selling pro-Kirk/Christian merchandise was beaten by masked protesters

* And most recently, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, who shot two West Virginia National Guard soldiers (deployed for urban security) in Washington D.C.

I could go on, but one can only wonder how many violent, politically motivated attacks by unhinged leftists go unreported or are covered up by the leftist media.

The new Leftist Intimidation Tactic

From the left’s perspective, the success of every strategy and action is measured by how far it advances their effort to achieve authoritarian control of America. The left doesn’t necessarily oppose the violent deaths of members of the opposition, as evidenced by the reaction of many of them on social media to the brutal murder of Charlie Kirk, but it’s not getting them to where they want to be fast enough.

The left believes they need to spread mass fear through American society on a level that will force compliance with the threat of consequences once Democrats regain power.

Pay close attention to how many times you hear the word “consequences” from Democrats in the coming months.

Recently, a group of Democrat Senators now known as the “Seditious Six,” released a video essentially calling for military and law enforcement personnel to ignore orders from the Commander-in-Chief if the leftist cabal decides they are “unlawful.” Apparently, this would include orders to deploy to crime ridden, cesspool Democratic cities to restore law and order. High-profile Democrats have repeatedly claimed these deployments are unlawful.

The implication was very clear that if those charged with enforcing our laws and protecting the country followed President Trump’s orders, there could be “consequences” once he leaves office. What does that mean exactly? The warning is ominous on purpose.

The threat of future retribution has gained momentum. Recently, Arizona Senator Ruben Gallego warned there will be “consequences” if the military punishes his fellow seditious Democrat, Mark Kelly. Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker has pushed the threat of the future consequences envelope even further, vowing to pursue justice against any Trump officials or military personnel who participate in what he considers an illegal National Guard deployment in Chicago.

Pushing Fight/Flight Stress to the Red Line

As an organization and movement, leftists and the Democrat party have devolved into a strong-arm operation. They offer protection to their “customers,” the illegal aliens, drug addicts and deadbeats who rely on them for the freebies. In return, the party benefits from loyalty at the ballot box and through violence on the streets if necessary. For the left’s enemies, the bullying, threats, intimidation and violence continue to escalate. You can guarantee that when they issue warnings of “future consequences,” they hope it spreads fear among the Republican base and those who speak the truth and expose their nefarious ways.

They want everyone who opposes them to know they are not safe. Unfortunately, this relentless effort to force mainstream America to consider every decision they make through a political lens is exacting a horrific cost in terms of mental and emotional health. Leftists are pushing American society to its breaking point, and the depressing part is that there is no immediate end in sight.
