It’s A Tough Truth, But A College Education Is No Longer Worth It
This is going to sound extremely prejudiced, but my daughter is a 3rd grade teacher, and she is one of the best teachers I know. She actually teaches her classes real-life subjects and gives no credence to the gender wars or creating leftist social warriors.
In fact, she is so good at focusing the children that they routinely place ones with learning or emotional difficulties in her class. I have asked her many times why she continues to put herself through what other teachers pass on to her. Her answer is always the same: some of the ones considered the worst turn out to be among the best.
Unfortunately, she has no control over what happens with them before they get to her, or after they leave her class. This is a problem that continues all the way through to graduation: teachers with their own agendas who would rather indoctrinate than teach.
As a result, far too many students aren’t even close to being ready for college, and once they get there, they get an even larger and more intense dose of extreme leftist logic. The result is radical zombies whose education centers around gender studies and other radical delusions.
That said, America is waking up. The majority of Americans now believe that a college education is useless, nothing more than leftist propaganda with an outrageous price tag.
The first step to correcting any problem is realizing that one exists. Parents are now realizing that four years of indoctrination is not an education, so why bother to send their children off to a concentration camp of ludicrous radical ideals that will not only not help their children in the workplace, but will turn them into a blight on society. Plus, either they or their children end up paying an absurd amount for nothing.
This is as terrifying as it is sad. A recent poll in California found that a vast number of students entering college could not complete math problems at an eighth-grade level.
So, ask yourself, why would anyone double down on the incompetence? It’s a known fact that, as bad as public-school boards and teachers have become, from grades K through 12, college professors are even worse.
Having students not attend college after high school would be a good thing. It would allow them to adjust back to reality without the constant pressure to conform to an abstract existence that exists only in the minds of those on the radical left.
The loss of revenue may also cause these institutions of dread to reevaluate their teaching methods and conform to real education, forsaking the ridiculous fantasies they have tried to indoctrinate Western Culture with.
The Editorial Board of the New York Post wrote this about the dilemma:
More Americans are wising up to the fact that higher education has become a raw deal for all too many young people.
A new NBC News poll finds that a full 63 percent of voters believe a four-year college degree now isn’t worth it, since many students graduate with “a large amount of debt” but no “specific job skills.”
That’s up markedly from 2013, when a majority took the opposite view, as 53 percent called a degree “worth the cost because people have a better chance to get a good job and earn more money over their lifetime.”
That WAS true in years gone by. When American students actually attended college to be educated in subjects that applied here on earth. However, as the left further infiltrates the institutions of lower learning, zombie factories of communist loving leftists are being created.
Despite the disappointing decline in basic scholastic knowledge, tuition costs have doubled over the last 20 years. A classic case of getting much less, despite paying much more for the privilege of getting screwed.
The truth is, unless someone wants to pursue a career as a lawyer, doctor, or another professional, college may not be necessary. For most young people, attending a trade school to become a plumber, electrician, welder, or mechanic is often a better option. These trades are in high demand and can offer excellent pay.
Some realities are slow to dawn on the masses, and things like wanting and even needing a college education to increase earning possibilities is one of them.
That said, the need for a college education has only diminished because nothing of real value is being taught at them anymore. If colleges can eliminate the presence of radical professors and administrators, so that necessary educational values and standards can be reinstituted, the value of college will return.
Colleges in their pursuit of leftist values have destroyed their own reputations. There will be a time when the draw of freedom without guardrails and the fun of football games and freedom without learning a thing about the real world will grind to a halt.
Sadly, how many will never reach their real potential while they are brainwashed to believe that a man isn’t a man because he “thinks” he isn’t, or vice versa, while other necessary skills are ignored.
Sitting in circles singing Kumbaya while claiming you are something that you’re not and bitching about how America needs communism is a suckers belief system being taught by a band of fools.
Grow up, and stop being so gullible.
