A Lot Of Hammers And Sickles Bent Out Of Shape Over Maduro’s Arrest

The U.S. military conducted a large-scale strike on Venezuela yesterday morning, capturing the nation’s leader, Nicolás Maduro, who will face serious criminal charges in the U.S., according to an unsealed indictment released by Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Nicolás Maduro, who was elected in 2013 and previously served as Hugo Chávez’s vice president, is currently facing several charges. These charges include conspiracy to commit narco-terrorism, conspiracy to import cocaine, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, and conspiracy to possess these weapons against the United States. Additionally, Maduro’s wife, Cilia Flores, has been taken into custody to face criminal charges in the United States. She, along with other high-ranking Venezuelan officials, including Maduro’s son, are also facing similar charges.

Attorney General Pam Bondi posted on X that Maduro and his wife “will soon face the full force of American justice in American courts.”

Attorney General Pamela Bondi

@AGPamBondi

“Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, have been indicted in the Southern District of New York. Nicolas Maduro has been charged with Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy, Cocaine Importation Conspiracy, Possession of Machineguns and Destructive Devices, and Conspiracy to Possess Machineguns and Destructive Devices against the United States. They will soon face the full wrath of American

justice on American soil in American courts. On behalf of the entire U.S. DOJ, I would like to thank President Trump for having the courage to demand accountability on behalf of the American People, and a huge thank you to our brave military who conducted the incredible and highly successful mission to capture these two alleged international narco traffickers.”

Speaking about the operation, Trump stated:

“It’s just it was an amazing thing, the amazing job that these people did. There’s nobody else who could have done anything like it.”

The new indictment increases the charges against Maduro and other Venezuelan officials that were announced in March 2020 during the first Trump administration.

The Trump administration has increased pressure on Maduro over the past year. The U.S. raised the bounty for Maduro’s arrest to $50 million and designated the Cartel de los Soles as a foreign terrorist organization.

Additionally, the International Criminal Court is investigating the Venezuelan government for allegations of torture, sexual violence, and arbitrary detentions.

Simply stated, Maduro is a nasty dude. Under his regime, Venezuela has seen a severe economic crisis, humanitarian issues, and political repression, including alleged drug trafficking and human rights abuses. He appointed loyalists to the courts, dissolved the opposition-controlled parliament, manipulated the media, and utilized food distribution for social control, thereby dismantling democratic institutions. He faces accusations of widespread human rights violations, including extrajudicial killings and torture, with international bodies investigating potential crimes against humanity.

Maduro retained power with the support of communist/socialist countries such as Cuba, Russia, Iran, and China, while facing significant sanctions from the United States and others.

So not surprisingly, it’s these countries, and of course, Democrats who hate anything that Trump does, who are whining the loudest. One of the loudest, but least qualified to criticize anyone about anything, is Zohran Mamdani, who, when he opened his hypocritical mouth, had been the mayor of New York for only around 48 hours.

However, that didn’t stop this loser from posting on X.

“I was briefed this morning on the U.S. military capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, as well as their planned imprisonment in federal custody here in New York City.”

“Unilaterally attacking a sovereign nation is an act of war and a violation of federal and international law.”

“This blatant pursuit of regime change doesn’t just affect those abroad; it directly impacts New Yorkers, including tens of thousands of Venezuelans who call this city home. My focus is their safety and the safety of every New Yorker, and my administration will continue to monitor the situation and issue relevant guidance.”

While this out-of-touch clown was posting his non-existent care for Venezuelans in New York, they were celebrating in the streets that Maduro had been arrested.

Also, let’s not forget that the first thing this hypocrite did after being sworn in was to cancel a previous executive order which adopted the IHRA definition of antisemitism. The IHRA protects Jews who believe in self-determination and provides a clear definition. So, you can now expect harassment at Jewish-owned businesses as well as their places of worship.

So much for caring about all New Yorkers, he stands up for Maduro, who was nothing more than a communist dictator, and throws away protection for the Jewish community.

The key point is that the indictment charges Maduro with collaborating with some of the world’s most violent and prolific drug traffickers and narco-terrorists. This partnership allegedly facilitated the shipment of thousands of tons of cocaine into the United States. The indictment alleges that Maduro allowed “cocaine-fueled corruption to flourish for his own benefit, for the benefit of members of his ruling regime, and for the benefit of his family members.”

US authorities allege that Maduro and his family “provided law enforcement cover and logistical support” to cartels moving drugs throughout the region, resulting in as much as 250 tons of cocaine trafficked through Venezuela annually by 2020. The drugs were moved on go-fast vessels, fishing boats, and container ships or on planes from clandestine airstrips.

“This cycle of narcotics-based corruption lines the pockets of Venezuelan officials and their families while also benefiting violent narco-terrorists who operate with impunity on Venezuelan soil and who help produce, protect, and transport tons of cocaine to the United States.”

The indictment states that the U.S. accuses Maduro and his wife of orchestrating kidnappings, beatings, and murders against individuals who owed them drug money or threatened their drug trafficking operations. This includes the assassination of a local drug leader in Caracas.

Complain if you will, liberals, Democrats, communists, and socialists. Venezuela is better without this scumbag. If you want to protect his record, you do so at your own peril.
