Bob Mueller: The Corrupt Former FBI Director was No Hero

If the left didn’t have double standards, these partisans would have no standards at all. The same Democrats who supported Obama’s action of regime change in Libya are demanding that Trump show Iran was an imminent threat. These left-wing extremists, who said nothing about Obama’s record-high level of deportations, also never miss the chance to criticize the current President’s judicious use of ICE to deport mostly convicted criminals, including murderers and pedophiles. Hypocrisy is visible on a daily basis in Washington D.C., and that fact was readily on display over the pretend outrage of many Democrats when Trump’s recent reaction to Bob Mueller’s death.

The former FBI Director and head of the Russian hoax investigation epitomized everything that is wrong in Washington. Mueller did, as Obama noted in his tribute, transform the FBI after 9-11. What the corrupt and incompetent former President failed to note is what the FBI became under him. Today, the nation knows the real purpose of the so-called Patriot Act was to give the government significant power to surveil US citizens. This disgusting legislation was in no way focused on terrorism. The corrupt FISA courts, the targeting of political opponents by the FBI and Justice Department, and the overall culture of corruption within the Bureau all have Mueller’s fingerprints on them. Bob Mueller was one of the key architects who transformed the FBI from being primarily a law enforcement body to one that prioritized spying and trying to control the lives of everyday Americans. The problems at this institution, which were highlighted in how the bureau disgustingly treated US citizens who were connected to January 6th and also went after people for simply holding conservative beliefs, were in part a byproduct of how Mueller and other Directors turned one of the more venerable law enforcement institutions against the very country the FBI was supposed to be trying to protect

Mueller’s rise to power was also as a fixer. The former US attorney oversaw the prosecution of Manuel Noriega, who was trained at the School of the Americas under former President George H.W. Bush. The former Vice President looked the other way when Panama’s President sold cocaine into the US and used the funds to finance groups in Latin and South America. The CIA was limited from financially supporting under congressional legislation referred to as the Boland Amendment. When Noriega was captured by US forces and later prosecuted, Mueller made sure the corrupt former leader of Panama got a nice deal that prevented him from testifying in open court about his relationship with Bush, and at the time, Vice President’s son later appointed him Director of the FBI a week before 9-11.

Mueller’s work for a corrupt establishment did not end there either. The former Director also, of course, oversaw the investigation of the Russian hoax. Bob Mueller’s team ruthlessly destroyed the lives of people such as Paul Manafort by manufacturing absurd cases against these individuals to coerce them into lying about President Trump’s nonexistent ties to Russia. The former US attorney and lawyer was as corrupt as he was ruthless, and this is why the same Democrats who call the current President a fascist and an existential threat to democracy are now asking for more civility from Trump after a man who tried to ruthlessly destroy him and his allies passed away, is absurd.

President Trump risked everything to reach the White House not once, but twice. The successful businessman was persecuted, prosecuted, and survived multiple assassination attempts. Bob Mueller was one of the most ruthless enemies of the 45th and 47th President. Indeed, while some lauded the former Director of military service, the reality is that this man was corrupt as he was ruthless, and his efforts to destroy Trump and his administration will be what he is remembered for most. The primary focus of MAGA has always been to return power to the American people, and the corrupt establishment’s political hitmen, such as Mueller, tried to keep the President from representing the country. Trump’s anger towards both the former director and his political enemies is more than justified.
