Yamaha Rides Off Into Newsom’s Bleak California Sunset
Gavin Newsom, as a political leader, may be well-suited for the Democratic Party, but he is not fit to represent the American public as a whole. His leadership has led to significant economic and social decline in California due to radical ideas, unchecked spending, and excessive bureaucratic red tape.
Many citizens and major corporations have left the state in search of the greener pastures offered by lower taxes, less bureaucracy, and a reduction in leftist propaganda found in red states. The reality is that Governor Newsom has left them with no other choice. California has transformed into not only a chaotic environment but also an expensive asylum that many can no longer afford to live in.
The recent losses have reduced the state’s tax base, yet Newsom has not reduced state spending at all. It doesn’t take a fortune teller or a skilled mathematician to predict how someone like Newsom, who exhibits narcissistic traits, responds to this issue. Instead of acknowledging his wastefulness, he chooses to push forward with a plan that penalizes those who remain. In a typical Democratic fashion, he targets the wealthiest individuals.
Newsom resembles a dog chasing its tail. People are leaving the state in large numbers because they can’t afford to live there. As a result, with fewer residents to tax, he raises taxes on those who remain, which will likely drive even more people to leave the state.
Recently, Yamaha Motors Corp., a company that has been in Orange County, California, for almost 50 years, announced it is leaving the state for smoother sailing in Georgia.
Yamaha joins a caravan of other companies that took their profits and left Newsom’s Hades. Notables on that list include Jelly Belly, Chevron, X/Twitter, SpaceX, Oracle, Hewlett-Packard, Charles Schwab, and Toyota Motor North America. In-N-Out moved its headquarters to Tennessee after 77 years, and Valero is closing its refinery. Marathon Petroleum is also warning they could leave.
This is unheard of. Under “Slick Newsom,” the state is losing population for the first time in history. This is just another in a long line of failures that came about for no other reason than the Governor is a radical leftist who, instead of staying grounded in reality, pursues every liberal fantasy he can, regardless of its cost.
On the other hand, states like Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida are loving the inflow of corporate and individual tax dollars.
Georgia Governor Brian Kemp was delighted with Yamaha’s decision. The manufacturer of ATVs, boat engines, personal watercraft, and other motorized products had already moved its marine business to Kennesaw in 1999 and its motorsports business in 2019. This latest decision completes the cycle for Kemp’s state, and he was not holding back on the opportunity to tout the differences between the two states.
“After many years of great partnership, we are honored and proud to welcome Yamaha’s American headquarters to the No. 1 state for business. This is another loud and clear testament to what we offer job creators from around the world. To any other California-based companies looking for a better home, we’ll give you plenty of reasons to keep Georgia on your mind.”
As I alluded to earlier, the reason for this most reason show of animosity towards California is because there is still a debate raging over the “Billionaire Tax Act,” which would implement a one-time, 5 Percent tax on billionaires.
Good idea, piss off the owners of the companies that employ hundreds or even thousands of residents in your state to the point that they pull up stakes and leave. That said, if you wonder how losers like Newsom get elected, a poll conducted by the UC Berkeley Citrin Center for Public Opinion Research, as reported by Politico, explains a lot.
The poll revealed that 50 percent of respondents support the Billionaire Tax Act. Among those in favor, 41 percent are strongly supportive, while 9 percent are somewhat supportive. Conversely, 28 percent of voters oppose the act, including 22 percent who strongly oppose it and 5 percent who somewhat oppose it.
So, there you have it. A brainwashed electorate continues to vote for brain-dead politicians, which results in no-brainer moves by the companies you are literally running out of the state.
Don’t blame the companies that have left or are leaving. Blame Newsom for policies that allow businesses to be robbed, and the homeless who suffer no consequences for taking a dump and urinating on the sidewalks in front of businesses. Then forcing them to pay higher taxes and other illogical fees for declining services.
Then look in the mirror and blame yourself for nonsensically believing in snake oil salesmen with slick hair and a line of lies that has ruined your state. By now you NEED to be able to see this, and if you can’t, you deserve what you get.
