Ilhan Omar’s Lies, the CIA, and the Cover-Up
One of the biggest lies in American politics is that the right is xenophobic or anti-immigrant. President Trump has always stated that the US should increase the number of people coming to the country legally, and he’s also made clear that his administration’s issue is with illegal immigration. Another falsehood in American politics is the idea that the Democrats or the left actually care about illegal immigrants, the people whom former Speaker Nancy Pelosi described as ones who can pick the country’s crops. Today’s Democratic Party cares almost exclusively about power, and the left only wants illegal immigrants to enter America who help the Democrats stay in control. This is why, for instance, Mayorkas generally opposed more right-leaning Cubans from coming to the US when weather issues savaged the country during the Biden years.
There is no story that exemplifies the reality of the constant flaws and systemic abuses of today’s immigration system occurring on a regular basis more than that of Ilhan Omar. The Minnesota congresswoman’s entire story is a fairly easy-to-prove lie. Omar has maintained that her family was a victim of the Somali civil war that occurred in the 1990s, and she, along with her family, came to the United States seeking refugee status during this time period. There are multiple significant problems with this absurd story.
First, Omar’s father was a high-ranking colonel in the Somalian government who worked directly under Mohamed Said Hersi Morgan, a known war criminal. There is also a video of the congresswoman’s dad talking about establishing a policy of genocide to wipe out whole populations of people that were viewed as a threat to the ruthless government that was in power at the time. The fact is that there is also significant evidence of CIA and US military ties to warlord and war criminal Mohamed Morgan, whom Omar’s family referred to as an uncle. The United States military trained Morgan in the 1980s, during the Cold War, and the CIA was funneling him significant financing after 2001 to combat elements of Islamic extremism. There was also suspiciously no effort led by the US or international authorities to apprehend or try Morgan for war crimes. Omar and her family have many pictures taken next to the war criminal.
Ilhan Omar grew up in a comfortable middle-class family in Somalia, and her father was a very high-ranked member of a regime known to have engaged in mass atrocities. When that government collapsed, she and her family sought to escape justice or reprisals by coming to the United States with what were clearly fraudulent claims of being targeted victims for persecution by governmental forces. The truth was closer to the opposite of what Omar claimed, and that is separate from the additional evidence that she also fraudulently married her brother so he could come to the US and also claim American citizenship.
The far more reasonable and likely explanation for Ilhan Omar’s journey to the US is that after her family knew about and participated in the war crimes of the former Somali regime, she benefited economically. After the brutal dictatorship fell, her family’s ties to the US military and possible intelligence agencies enabled them to illegally come over to the US with a fake story that immigration authorities either believed or agreed to accept under pressure from individuals with the American government who had worked with Omar’s father in Somalia under the prior regime. When Ilhan Omar came to the US, her family maintained high-level government connections and helped bring over thousands of additional Somali immigrants, many of whom are linked to much of the recent massive voter and financial fraud in the state of Minnesota. The overwhelming evidence points to Omar’s official immigration being a complete and total fraud, and the facts yet again show how Democrats and the left continue to abuse the current system to both maintain and increase their power.
