Party Of Tolerance And Understanding Now Tearing Down Murder Victims’ Murals
The question that should come to everyone’s mind is, why? Why would the mayor of any city take down the mural of a murder victim? That’s the question that liberal nerd Brett Smiley needs to answer. Smiley is the mayor of Providence, RI, and the mural in question is one of Iryna Zarutska, the beautiful young Ukrainian who was stabbed and slashed to death in Charlotte, North Carolina, on a light rail train.
The attack took place last August, when Decarlos Brown Jr., a 34-year-old with a long criminal history and 14 prior arrests, including a 2015 conviction for robbery with a dangerous weapon, attacked Zarutska in an unprovoked attack from behind, leaving her bleeding out in the aisle.
The murals are being painted in places across the country in tribute to Zarutska, and as a reminder that senseless violence has no place in American society, but
Providence Democrat Mayor Brett Smiley slammed the mural honoring her as “divisive and said it does not represent Providence.”
So, according to Smiley, downplaying senseless violence is divisive?
No, what Smiley doesn’t like is that this was a black violent criminal, who was released time after time by liberal judges and who never should have been on the street, killed an innocent white woman for no reason.
The mural isn’t divisive; you and your fellow Democrats and liberals see it as a reminder of your stupidity, and it makes you feel guilty. To Smiley and his ilk, the mural is a vivid example of a crime that never should have happened, and yet this hypocrite has no problem with a George Floyd memorial statue on the courthouse steps. Floyd, a drug addicted lifetime criminal, has a special place in the hearts of Democrats, and they immortalize this thug anytime they have an opportunity.
To try and show unity with Smiley’s moronic attitude, his equally callous Democrat stablemate, Rhode Island state Rep. David Morales, whined to a local NBC reporter that the artwork honoring Iryna “does not reflect” the “values” of Providence.
Really?
Translation: The mural has value, but according to Smiley and Morales, Providence, Rhode Island, does not.
It’s actually disgusting how thin-skinned these Democrat and liberal snowflakes are. If they see anything they don’t agree with, they want it removed. If Republicans and conservatives acted in that way, that ridiculous George Floyd statue, and every other tribute to him, would have been destroyed.
Zarutska left a war zone, but it was more dangerous for her to ride public transport home from her job at a pizzeria in her work uniform at 9:45 p.m. on a Friday in a predominantly blue city.
The murals being painted across the country in honor of Iryna are both a grassroots expression and a project initiated by Elon Musk and another compassionate tech CEO, Eoghan McCabe.
They experienced the same horror and sadness as any ordinary person when watching the surveillance footage of Iryna being attacked, collapsing to the floor, and bleeding to death alone while fellow passengers looked on.
In a display of gratitude, their community service is criticized as “fascist” by individuals like Smiley, Morales, and certain left-leaning groups in Brooklyn who deface the Iryna mural in their neighborhood. The Iryna murals in blue cities often suffer from vandalism, reflecting a disturbing hatred for innocence.
In contrast, Democrats have portrayed the convicted violent felon and drug addict George Floyd as a saint, with countless murals across the country treated with the reverence of shrines.
City officials in blue jurisdictions painted large “Black Lives Matter” logos on the roads to honor George Floyd and the violent Antifa-driven riots that swept across the country following his death. Derek Chauvin, the white police officer convicted of Floyd’s second-degree murder, received praise for his conviction and was sentenced to more than 22 years in prison. A sentence that is now under scrutiny because the actual cause of death was not what the MSM and everyone on the left projected it to be.
On January 6, 2021, during the Capitol riot, a black police officer named Michael Byrd shot and killed an unarmed white woman, Ashli Babbitt, who was an Iraq war veteran. Following the incident, it has been alleged that Democrats acted to conceal his identity, provided him with secret bonuses, and ensured that he faced no consequences.
The Democrats who govern Providence support Floyd and oppose immigration enforcement against illegal immigrants who roam freely in their sanctuary city.
In 2025 and 2026, Smiley issued executive orders prohibiting the Providence police from assisting ICE. Morales referred to ICE as a “rogue agency” that is “murdering” people and must be “abolished.”
In the past year, ICE has arrested several illegal immigrants on child sex charges, with no assistance from local authorities.
Providence, RI, is not value-driven, and Smiley and Morales are both sanctimonious A-Holes. If this city is so intolerant that a mural puts them into an emotional tailspin, I suggest everyone avoid this place at all costs.
I don’t feel bad for the residents of this city; they voted these two morons into office, and now they can reap what they have sown.
