The Right Must Stop Being Intimidated By The Left
It’s bad enough that institutions like Harvard and Yale are so blatantly biased to the left that they actually invite people like the moronic communist Hasan Piker to speak at their institutions, but why is Erika Kirk canceling her Turning Point speaking engagement at Georgia because of threats?
It’s time for the conservatives on the right to get more aggressive and to stand up and LOUDLY proclaim that normalcy, tradition, and values actually mean something. I’m not criticizing Erika Kirk, but the left creates a lot of noise, and the people on the right can’t duck and run when they throw their threats around. That said, universities also need to step up and take whatever measures are necessary to ensure free speech for those who oppose the radicals on the left.
You never see a lunatic like Piker, who hates our country with a passion, having to worry about canceling a speaking engagement because some people on the right are out of control. It just doesn’t happen, and conservatives have to stop accepting and caving in to the hatred of the left. The next time they threaten a conservative speaker, figuratively give them the middle finger and show up loud and proud. Then, if they do show up acting like idiots, all they’re doing is making themselves look like fools.
Speaking of fools, Piker played his imbecile card openly and often during his rant at Yale. Piker, who is a far-left Twitch streamer, painted his communist gloom and doom scenario about the United States. While doing so, Piker used an old Democrat trick; he didn’t just predict the downfall of America, he contends that it’s already happening. By putting that thought in the empty heads of whoever listens to his insanity, it implies that “Hey, see I’m right because it’s already taking place.”
Piker told the Yale students:
Empires “rarely die quietly. They go out over the course of sometimes centuries, but in America’s case, probably a lot shorter, with increasing amounts of violence.”
Piker supports the “End the American Empire” resolution.
“It’s an interesting resolution, end the U.S. empire. It’s interesting because, how do you end something that’s already in the process of dying?”
“We must manage the retreat of a superpower from the world stage. This is a challenge for our time, because if we do not do this, then the American empire will come to an end in a much more violent way, a curse on future generations that we must avoid at all costs.”
He went on to say that the United States “turned against” the Soviet Union following World War II because of “anti-communist fervor.” (No kidding.) At another point, he quoted Chinese dictator Mao Zedong’s past words about “reactionaries” being “paper tigers” who weren’t as scary as they appeared, which is interesting because that is exactly what this 34-year-old instigator is.
This “paper tiger” gets his jollies by saying outrageous things, looking to get a reaction. In the past, he has shown his ignorance and hatred for the U.S. and Israel by saying, “Hamas unironically is the lesser evil” compared to Israel. It doesn’t matter if f*cking rapes happened on October 7. It doesn’t change the dynamic for me,” and “Oh my god, 9/11 2 is going to be so sick. Give Saudi Arabia a nuke so they can do 9/11 2.”
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is one of the loudest voices for the radical left. So, stop canceling your appearances, no matter what threats these loudmouths spew forth. Their rhetoric shouldn’t be the only thing these students hear, especially when it’s so easy to shoot full of holes.
Communism has failed everywhere it’s been tried. When Piker starts railing that America is dying, he needs to be reminded that communism has been dead, buried, and rotting for a while, and what these leftists are doing is nothing more than conducting a séance, hoping to raise it from the dead.
