Kathy Hochul To Republicans: Get Out! No, Wait, Come Back!

Back in August, New York Governor Kathy Hochul was talking brashly out of the left side of her mouth, telling Republican Lee Zeldin specifically and all Republicans generally to:

โ€œJump on the bus and head down to Florida where you belong, OK? You are not New Yorkers.โ€

Unfortunately for Hochul, people didnโ€™t need or want her permission to leave. They were already doing so in droves and in many cases taking their businesses with them.

Last year, according to the Census Bureau, New Yorkโ€™s population decreased by 299,557 which was the second highest decrease topped only by California which lost 343,230. However, since 2020 New York has lost 524,079 edging out California that lost 508,903 residents.

Hochul was aware of this issue in August, but like all Democrats, she couldnโ€™t contain her snarky arrogance. Instead of acknowledging the problem she attacked her opponents.

Fast forward four short months. During her New Yearโ€™s day inaugural speech, Hochul was singing a different tune. This time out of the right side of her mouth, she lamented the exodus from the state:

โ€œWe must and will make our state safe. We have to make our state more affordable, and we must reverse the trend of people leaving our state in search of lower costs and opportunities elsewhere.โ€

Of course this is just rhetoric. Will New York become safer, no. Will it become more business friendly, no. Will living in the state become more affordable, no.

States like New York, California and other liberal states that are controlled by the Marxist left do not have the ability or frankly the desire to change. The leaders in those states are not driven by the needs of their constituents. They are driven by unattainable ridiculous ideals that they call progressive, but in reality are anything but. In an attempt to promote what they call โ€œequityโ€ they bow and scrape to small factions of their stateโ€™s population, subjecting the majority to discriminatory and in many cases offensive practices that tear at the fabric of a God-fearing American beliefs.

The irony in the case of both Hochul and Newsome is they continue to attempt to spin the positive things about States like Florida and Texas into something negative.

While Hochul was haughtily telling Republicans to go to Florida, Newsome actually took it a step further. Over the summer He was so delusional that he actually took out an ad targeting Floridians.

โ€œFreedom is under attack in your state. Republican leaders, theyโ€™re banning books, making it harder to vote, restricting speech in classrooms, even criminalizing women, and doctors. I urge all of you living in Florida to join the fight, or join us in California, where we still believe in freedom. Freedom of speech, freedom to choose, freedom from hate and the freedom to love.โ€

As a Floridian, I can tell you that every single thing that Newsome listed is an absolute lie, and that is the exact reason why New York and California will never change under Democratic leadership.

Instead of learning from the example of other properly run states, they continue to deny both truth and reality. The people that suffer are those that are forced to stay in those liberal hell holes.

For the record, Floridaโ€™s population grew by 318,855 or 1.9 percent last year. It represented the first time since 1957 that Florida led the nation in population growth. Texas was second in growth adding 230,961 residents.

It isnโ€™t just private citizens leaving New York and California, business are leaving as well and they are taking all of that revenue with them.

So to New York, California and all the other states run by โ€œprogressiveโ€ Democrats, keep believing that youโ€™re โ€œwokeโ€ while you are actually sound asleep.

Your loss is a gain for all of the states that are actually run by freedom loving adults.
