By Land Or Sea, But Not By Air! Biden’s Ridiculous Vaccination Restriction Exposed

Novak Djokovic is the number 1 rated men’s single tennis player in the world. He has won 22 major titles, which ties him with Rafael Nadal for the most grand slam titles in men’s tennis history. So without question, he is one of the best tennis players ever to grace the sport.

He should be playing right now in the Indian Wells Masters in California, but because of Joe Biden’s moronic travel ban he isn’t.

Djokovic is unvaccinated. However, he does have natural immunity having contracted and recovered from covid. This controversy is nothing new for Djokovic. He has been forced to miss tournaments in Canada and Australia in addition to the U.S. Open last year. In spite of the being banned from these tournaments, Djokovic has remained resolute in his stance saying, “based on all the information that I got” extolling the “principle of understanding what is right and what is wrong for you.”

What makes the travel ban even more absurd is Biden’s refusal to secure the southern border, where millions of unvaccinated immigrants are allowed to enter the country.

Ron DeSantis, the Governor of Florida, is highlighting this insanity in hopes that Djokovic can play in this month’s Miami Open, which is scheduled to take place from March 22nd to April 2nd.

In a letter sent to Biden on March 7th, DeSantis wrote:

“The only thing keeping Novak Djokovic from participating in the Miami Open tennis tournament is President Biden’s misguided and unscientific COVID-19 vaccination requirement for foreign travelers. I note that since the onset of COVID-19, Mr. Djokovic has visited the United States twice, including once during your presidency, without any apparent health incident.”

“It is also not clear to me why, even by the terms of your own proclamation, Mr. Djokovic could not legally enter this country via boat.”

“In sum, the current ‘travel ban’ as applied to Mr. Djokovic, and presumably millions of other potential unvaccinated foreign visitors, seems completely ungrounded in logic, common sense, or any genuine concern for the health and welfare of the American people.”

DeSantis was referring to the wording of the travel ban. Although it can be assumed that all means of travel are included, that isn’t what is written. According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director, proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required for non-U.S. citizens, non-immigrant passengers arriving from a foreign country to the US by air.

With that in mind, DeSantis stated this at a news conference yesterday in Tampa.

“I would run a boat from the Bahamas here for him. I would do that a hundred percent. I think his people are looking at it, and I’m not sure that’s the way they want to come into the country, which I understand. I think it would be a great moment, but you know, nevertheless.”

On their twitter account last Friday, the Miami Open also voiced their hope that the ban would be waived. “Novak Djokovic is one of the greatest tennis players of all time and a six-time champion of the Miami Open. We hope he is allowed entry into the country so Floridians have the opportunity to see him compete once again.”

With all of the information that has been brought forth about the dangers associated with the vaccines and boosters, enforcement of this ban is not only problematic, it may someday be seen as criminal.
