Cori Bush Is The Worst Member Of Congress And It’s Not Even Close
The U.S. Congress isn’t known for including America’s best and brightest. We can write many sentences just listing how many members of Congress are dumb and worthless on both sides of the aisle. But it seems we have a winner for the title of America’s worst member of Congress and it is Congresswoman Cori Bush (D-Missouri).
Bush is a member of the far-left “Squad”. She is also one of the worst race hustlers in Congress and that is an accomplishment. The most notable example of this is when she attacked black Republican Congressman Byron Donalds as a “prop” for “white supremacy” after he was nominated for Speaker of the House by members of the House Freedom Caucus. The leftist corporate media circled the wagons around Bush and agreed with her.
Bush likes to mix race hustling and her desire to destroy the production of the reliable sources of energy that fuel American prosperity. Instead, she wants to replace them with weather-dependent sources of energy production such as solar and wind. In April 2022, she all but claimed that natural gas was racist.
But she doesn’t seem to think that all natural gas is racist. In that same month, she voted against a ban on imports of Russian natural gas. Russian fossil fuel exports fuel that country’s invasion of Ukraine. But Russian natural gas isn’t racist unlike American-produced natural gas and that’s the most important thing.
In October 2021, she made the claim that fossil fuels kill “millions of people” and accused the fossil fuel industry of “white supremacy.”
“The facts are clear,” Bush said, citing a 2017 NAACP Clean Air Task Force report that claimed African Americans are 75% more likely than the average American to be directly affected in some way by the operation of a company, industrial or service facility.
“For years you all have continued to promote fossil fuels despite knowing that promoting them means promoting environmental racism and violence in Black and Brown communities,” Bush said. “You all are still promoting and selling fossil fuels that are killing millions of people.”
“This is a striking example of White supremacy,” she added. “Your profit-driven choices threaten my life, the lives of my family, my neighbors and our communities every single day,”
Bush continued by describing herself as “a Black congresswoman with asthma.” She later called on all the executives to resign.
Yesterday, Bush attacked Alex Epstein, the philosopher and energy expert who wrote the book Fossil Future: Why Global Human Flourishing Requires More Oil, Coal, and Natural Gas–Not Less which argued for the burning of more fossil fuels, as a white supremacist. What did Epstein say that led her to bring the charge? Epstein wrote in 2000 that Western culture was superior to all other cultures, which is a statement of fact. Epstein did well in rebutting Bush’s charge.
We haven’t even gotten to Bush’s support for “defund the police” and civilian disarmament while she has an expensive private security detail. She even just married a member of that detail.In addition to her husband serving on the detail, she also has an “antisemitic spiritual guru” on it who claims to be 109 trillion years old and can summon tornadoes.
All of this adds up to make Cori Bush the worst member of Congress. Unfortunately, she won’t be going anywhere because she represents a very Democratic district.
