Crossing the Rubicon
In the days of the Roman Republic, Roman general Julius Caesar led his troops across a river north of Rome called the Rubicon. At the time, Julius Caesar served as the governor and commander of the Roman army in Gaul–the province north of Rome.
Caesar was well-aware that bringing his army across the Rubicon was a clear violation of a well-established law of the Roman Republic–amounting to an act of war. In essence, Caesar’s decision to cross the Rubicon meant that he could no undo his decision in starting a civil war in Rome. We all should know how that story unfolded: Caesar won the civil war, ended the Roman Republic, and became the dictator of Rome.
Moving to modern times, the phrase “crossing the Rubicon” typically refers to when a person is “past the point of return” after a decision.
In 2023, the current American Regime may have “crossed the Rubicon” with the Manhattan DA’s recent decision to indict President Trump. The Regime has openly declared war on President Trump and his tens of millions of his ardent supporters across the country.
We are truly living in unprecedent times as an American president has never before received a criminal indictment. Yes, you heard that fact correctly. The American government came up with a frivolous criminal charge to go after the leading opposition leader of the D.C. Swamp

From the time I came down the golden escalator at Trump Tower and even before I was sworn in as your president of the United States, the radical-left Democrats, the enemy of the hard-working men and women of this country, have been engaged in a witch hunt to destroy the Make America Great Again Movement.
You remember it just like I do: Russia, Russia, Russia and the Mueller hoax. Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, impeachment hoax one, impeachment hoax two, the illegal and unconstitutional Mar-a-Lago raid and now this. The Democrats have lied, cheated and stolen in their obsession with trying to get Trump, but now they’ve done the unthinkable, indicting a completely innocent person in an act of blatant election interference. Never before in our nation’s history has this been done.
The Democrats have cheated countless times over the decades, including spying on my campaign, but weaponizing our justice system to punish a political opponent who just so happens to be a president of the United States and by far the leading Republican candidate for president has never happened before, ever. Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg, who was handpicked and funded by George Soros, is a disgrace.
Rather than stopping the unprecedented crime wave taking over New York City. He’s doing Joe Biden’s dirty work, ignoring the murders and burglaries and assaults he should be focused on. This is how Bragg spends his time.
I believe this witch hunt will backfire massively on Joe Biden. The American people realize exactly what the radical left Democrats are doing here. Everyone can see it. So, our movement and our party, united and strong, will first defeat Alvin Bragg and then we will defeat Joe Biden, and we are going to throw every last one of these crooked Democrats out of office so we can make America great again.“
When I first heard the news about the Trump indictment, I couldn’t help but think that we now live in a third-world “Banana Republic”. From the Trump indictment to the political persecution of Jan 6 protestors, there is no denying that we are living under an illegitimate government that persecutes its political enemies.
For many years, the American Regime appeared to exercise its power by means of soft-power–through Big Tech censorship, the de-banking of conservatives by High Finance, and other under-handed tactics.
In the past few years, the Regime has started to openly use political power to punish political dissidents. The FBI’s raid of President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home last August was a glaring example of the Regime wielding hard power–before the recent indictment of course.
While many patriots are horrified by the indictment, there is a silver lining to this situation. We should have no doubt that America First patriots and many ordinary, non-partisan will see through this sham of a criminal indictment, and a recent poll from Quinnipiac demonstrates this potentiality. According to this poll, 93% of Republicans and 70% of Independents believe that “the Manhattan District Attorney’s case is mainly motivated by politics.” Clearly, many Americans are not falling for this charade–especially Republican voters.
On a closing note, the reality is that America is not a free country. Patriots need to undo the decades of media programming that “America is the greatest, freest country in the world”. We do not live in a free country, and we need to act quickly (through peaceful means) to save our nation before it fully becomes a third-world “Banana Republic”.
Only time will tell if America has actually “crossed the Rubicon” with the unjust indictment of President Trump, but we can all support and pray for President Donald J Trump through these troubling times.
