A Surprise Update on Nashville Shooter’s Manifesto

Conservatives who want to read the manifesto that Nashville mass-shooter Audrey Hale left behind got bad news Monday…followed by more bad news.

Many conservatives believe Hale, who was transgendered, killed six people, including three children, at a private Christian school because she hated people of faith. They also believe a manifesto she left behind was politically charged and would confirm their suspicions.

But will the public ever see that document?

We still don’t know.

Members of the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) have thus far dodged RVIVR’s questions about when and if they plan to release Hale’s writings.

In a statement Monday, MNPD officials said Hale acted alone and planned the killings over a period of months. They also continue to say “the motive for Hale’s actions has not been established.”

Many conservatives, including Tennessee Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN-02) have asked law enforcement to release Hale’s manifesto now rather than later.

Possibly complicating matters: MNPD officials said Monday they’ve turned Hale’s manifesto over to the FBI and its Behavioral Analysis Unit in Quantico, Virginia. The MNPD did not say if they provided the FBI with Hale’s original manuscript or a copy.

Would left-of-center FBI officials omit or attempt to put a positive spin on any of Hale’s writings or motives, given their biases that favor leftist causes?

This is possible.

In a report last November, Republican U.S. House members said FBI Director Christopher Wray and U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland “have injected politics into the FBI, so much so that it is now fundamentally broken.”

“Whistleblowers have seen how ‘political meddling’ is distracting and “pull[ing] away” resources from the FBI’s traditional functions. They have described how senior FBI leadership is ‘purging’ employees with conservative views,” GOP House members wrote.

“They talk about how the FBI leadership targets conservative Americans with aggressive law-enforcement tactics while treating liberal Americans with kid gloves.”

The report cited, among other things, how the FBI purges employees who hold conservative views. FBI agents also raided former Republican President Donald Trump’s home and downplayed and sought to reduce the spread of the serious allegations of wrongdoing against Hunter Biden.

Hale, whatever her motive, fired 152 rounds from the time she shot her way into the school until MNPD officers shot and killed her.
