‘Only’ Sixty Non-Citizens Voted in Maricopa County, Arizona

The argument that ID should not be required to vote rests on two basic premises. Apparently, Democrats believe some people are either too lazy or too intellectually challenged to get an ID. They also contend that ID is unnecessary because voting systems are so secure that ineligible people would never be allowed to vote anyway.

Except Maricopa County in Arizona recently confirmed that the latter argument wasn’t true.

In September 2024, the Secretary of State, Adrian Fontes, an extremely partisan Democrat, revealed that 218,000 Arizonans were affected by a “coding oversight” that placed them on the voter rolls without providing proof of citizenship, which is a violation of election law.

At the time, Fontes said this:

“The reality is these registrants have met the same legal standard as every other American who registers to vote: swearing under penalty of perjury that they are U.S. citizens. We can’t risk denying actual citizens the right to vote due to an error out of their control. This issue is another example of why we need to fund elections, update systems and staff, and carry forward our proven tradition of safe, fair and secure elections.”

Except it seems some of those voters didn’t meet the same legal standard.

Uh oh…

Non-Citizens on the Voter Rolls

On February 13th, Maricopa County Recorder, Justin Heap, announced that his office had identified 137 registered voters who are not U.S. citizens out of a pool of the 61,000 affected by the coding issue. Of those 137, 60 had voted in prior elections. Let me repeat that again: We know for a fact that sixty illegal aliens voted in Arizona’s election.

The identities of the “non-citizens” have been turned over to the Arizona Attorney General’s office and the Maricopa County Attorney’s office for “further review.” Since the Arizona Attorney General is a Democrat, and the Maricopa County Attorney is an ineffectual Republican, don’t hold your breath. You’ll probably never hear any more about it.

Still, despite Democrat’ claims that the percentage of ineligible voters voting in elections is so small it’s irrelevant, the larger point must not be ignored. There are illegal aliens voting in Arizona’s elections. Full stop. And here is the important part. If we apply that same percentage to the total number of registered voters in the state (4.3 million) it means that’s entirely conceivable that there are at least 10,000 illegal aliens on the voter rolls.

Do you think that might matter in a close election?

Worse, it’s very possible the percentages are much higher in corrupt Pima County, where Democrats have a California-style stranglehold on Tucson.

Multiple Paths to Cheat in Elections

I don’t know how elections are run in your state and county, but in Arizona, there is a Department of Elections, which is responsible for every aspect of an election except the voter rolls and mail-in ballots. The Recorder maintains the voter rolls, and the signature verification team is made up of people hired (and compensated) by the Pima County Recorder’s Office.

Those providing oversight of the signature verification process are required to stand six feet away from the screen where the signatures flash by, and the average signature verification process takes two to four seconds.

The whole system is a sham (in my opinion).

For years I have wondered if a specific rigging scenario was hypothetically possible in Pima County. I have asked this question to multiple people familiar with election security, as well as AI: Hypothetically, what would prevent a woke leftist zealot within the Recorder’s Office from examining the voter rolls, identifying people who are active voters but haven’t voted in a recent election, and filling out a ballot in that individual’s name after the election ended, but a winner has not been declared?

There are safeguards, they say.

For example, all the ballots must ultimately be reconciled by the Election Department against the voter rolls. Okay, so we now have a ballot that is matched to a voter who never votes. So what?

But, they say, voters are notified when the Recorder receives their mail-in ballot. Sounds great in theory, but the corrupt official would make sure such a notification was never issued to the voter whose identity they co-opted.

Perhaps, but there is a dashboard where voters can check in to see the status, or lack thereof, of a ballot. I wonder what the likelihood is that someone who didn’t vote in the election would check and make sure there wasn’t a fake ballot cast on their behalf?

When you mail your ballot in Pima County, it enters the USPS system as “Intelligent Mail”. This designation allows the county to track the envelope’s specific barcode from the moment it is scanned by a postal machine until it arrives at the Recorder’s facility. That’s another wonderful safeguard, except in the case of purposeful corruption of the process, where the ballot would never be mailed in the first place. The corrupt official would simply include it with the legitimate ballots, where the signature on the envelope would be rubber stamp verified with all the others.

But, They Could go to Prison

Democrats claim that no rational person would risk prison by rigging an election. Don’t under estimate the willingness of woke leftists to fall on the sword for the cause. Anyway, the likelihood of that person being apprehended in such a scenario is extremely unlikely, especially if they are surrounded by fellow leftist zealots in the Recorder’s Office. How could one person be implicated when there are multiple potential suspects?

There are 600,000 registered voters in Pima County. Identifying a hundred, or even a few hundred fake ballots would be like finding the proverbial needle in a haystack. In a close election, a few hundred votes tallied after the election closed could make all the difference.

Have you ever noticed that in Arizona, close races are never called until days or weeks after the polls close? Very strange indeed.

We Need Voter ID

The point is this: The only way we can be assured that all votes are legal and valid is through ID requirements. Identification at the polling places and ID with a copy of a mail-in ballot. Certainly, if such measures were adopted, Democrats would begin working on a way to circumvent them, but there is no question voter ID would close many paths for the current avenues for election rigging.

Which is exactly why woke leftists are spewing mountains of fake sanctimony against voter ID.
