Democrat Transgender State Rep Tries Sleight Of Hand To Protect Pedophiles

Minnesota is known as the “Land of 10,000 lakes.” Today, the “Land of 10,000 flakes” seems much more appropriate.

The name Minnesota, is a Siouan word that means “cloudy or muddy water,” which is exactly what Transgender State Representative Leigh Finke is trying to do.

Minnesota has a Human Rights Act which is a law specifically designed to prevent discrimination in “employment, housing, public accommodations, public services, education, credit, and business.” Within the state, it is enforced by the Minnesota Department of Human Rights.

As the act currently reads in Subdivision 44 under subset “363A.03 Definitions” it clearly states that “Sexual orientation’ does not include a physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult.”

Enter Representative Finke, a man dressed as a woman, that was named “Woman of the Year by USA Today for the state of Minnesota. Finke, apparently feeling his oats, has introduced a proposed bill HF 1655, tagged by those in favor of it as the “Take Pride Act.”

What Finke is trying to do is to amend the Human Rights Act by creating a separate definition for gender identity. He also wants to remove specific sections in the act that he believes discriminates against sexual orientation.

Finke wants to remove the “sexual orientation” clarification, a protected class that excludes pedophiles.

Finke claims, (here comes the muddy water part) that the clarification in the existing act insinuates a link between homosexuality and pedophilia. He claims that his revision, “updates outdated language that incorrectly ties pedophilia to a person’s sexual orientation.”

“Nothing in the bill changes or weakens any crimes against children, or the state’s ability to prosecute those who break the law. Of course, pedophilia is not a sexual orientation. The language never should have been included in the statutory definition in the first place. Crimes against children are located in Minnesota’s criminal statutes, and again, they remain unchanged.”

Of course there are laws on the books concerning laws against children, but Republicans fear that any ambiguity may allow pedophilia to be interpreted as a protected status as a consequence of Finke’s proposed changes.

To counteract this, Republicans intend to propose an amendment that clearly states “a physical or sexual attachment to children” is not a protected class under the Human Rights Act.

Republican House Minority Leader Lisa Demuth issued the following statement:

“Under the Human Rights Act, the definition of sexual orientation says that sexual orientation does not include physical or sexual attraction to children by an adult, or more simply described, pedophilia. The Democrats’ decision to strike this language is disturbing and inexplicable.”

Finke, snowflake that he is, tweeted that because of the backlash over his proposal he is “left hurt and scared.”

Really?

A man that dresses as a woman, got elected in a liberal state that doesn’t give a damn about biology, common sense, or the results of letting their guard down by electing freaks of nature.

Now, one of those freaks wants to offer protection for pedophiles. Another example of when you deny the truth and elect unstable, mentally incompetent people they take advantage of the position.

These people have an agenda. They won’t stop until every form of perversion is deemed acceptable. Open your eyes America. The left want’s power over the future and that means the souls of your children … in any way, shape, or form they can acquire them.
