Jason Aldean and Reason #1 Why The Left Should Take His Dare
If members of Antifa or Black Lives Matter (BLM) are the paragons of virtue that they and the media think they are then surely they won’t hesitate to take Jason Aldean up on his dare.
In the larger cities, BLM and Antifa riot and loot and inflict violence upon innocent people.
Try that in a small town.

Big cities are almost always politically blue and overseen exclusively by Democrats. Big cities are sympathetic to Antifa and BLM. Most important, big cities have progressive district attorneys who will not prosecute the radical left, no matter what.
Try that in a small town.
The left and the media attest that small towns are epicenters of racism. Supposedly, these small towns are infested with Aryan Nations, Ku Klux Klan (KKK), and racist aggressions (micro and macro). If that’s true then, quite frankly, Antifa and BLM would get far more mileage protesting supposed social injustices in the small towns vs. those in the larger cities. FYI, small towns are NOT epicenters of racism, but, again, the left believes that lie.
So why won’t BLM and Antifa go to a small town?
Because, unlike what they get away with in the larger cities, BLM and Antifa know they can’t set small towns on fire without running afoul of the law.
The establishment press, of course, will never tell you that.
Instead, they’ll tell you the following lyrics to Jason Aldean’s “Try That in a Small Town” song are racist and inflammatory:
Sucker punch somebody on a sidewalk
Carjack an old lady at a red light
Pull a gun on the owner of a liquor store
Ya think it’s cool, well, act a fool if ya like
Cuss out a cop, spit in his face
Stomp on the flag and light it up
Yeah, ya think you’re tough
Well, try that in a small town
Wait…those lyrics are racist?
Huh?

If you expect all people to behave civilized and not resort to violence as a coping mechanism then, per the standards of the media and the left (one and the same) that’s racist. The left and the establishment press expect very little of black people. That, in and of itself, is racist. This is what George W. Bush referred to as the “Soft bigotry of low expectations.”
No wonder this Jason Aldean song makes the left uncomfortable.
