We Stand In Defiance Of Tyranny

History teaches us that when governments collapse, the people are convinced by evil dictators that they must support the creation of a stronger central government to โ€˜ensureโ€™ the mistakes of the past are prevented. The problem is this is the greatest mistake of the past. This a mistake the coalition joining in with Restore Liberty refuses to repeat as we work together to ensure that government of, by, and for the people does not perish from the earth.

In January 2020, I began what I thought would be a small project, building a local neighborhood watch in the small town where I retired in Montana after a twenty-eight-year military career. A state my family has called home for five generations. Little did I know that retirement plans never work out.

Over time, this small effort turned into a national group called Restore Liberty, where we work with coalitions and individuals across the United States and, in some cases, globally. Listing every coalition member we work with would take too much space, but it is a whoโ€™s who of American constitutional groups. We also work with numerous international sources, and because of that, the Restore Liberty team is relied on for our expertise when appearing on national and local media outlets. As co-founders, Brigadier General (retired) Blaine Holt and I did not plan on having to build such an organization in our retirement years. But, at a time like this, our nation needs leaders and phenomenal teams of people working together to defend the principles of liberty. We did not want to be in this situation; it was forced upon us by the foreign and domestic enemies of the United States.

We have a unique plan that does not look like any political organizationโ€™s plan in the United States today. We expect the government to collapse under its own weight. Not because we want it to, but because it is too top-heavy, corrupt, in debt, and outside the bounds of its constitutional limitations.

Therefore, we build leadership across the states. We do this by establishing State Directors who then build a network of County Guardians. We are the watchmen and women on the walls. We are prepared for the collapse of government. If/when that happens, we are there to ensure that no dictator rises to any position of power in the United States. Instead, We the People will reestablish government under the principles of our already written constitution.

So, here we stand in defiance of tyranny, willing to risk whatever it takes to secure victory for all Americansโ€”pledging our sacred honor to do what must be done, uniting people in a common cause, and following the leadership that only God Almighty can provide. ย

I am reminded of The Battle Hymn of the Republic, for it speaks of standing in truth and under the watchful eye of the creator of the universe.

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord;

He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;

He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword:

His truth is marching on.

No matter what happens in the world around us, let us remember that the bearer of the great sword of truth is on the side of the remnant. It is time for all to evaluate where they stand, for evil will be judged now or in the future. But our children and grandchildren need us to stand up now.

So, I say:

Sons and Daughters of Liberty โ€“ and We, the People of this great Republic, we are Restore Liberty! We work in states across this Republic and stand in defiance of tyranny alongside you! We are fighting as free men and women, and free we are! What will YOU do with YOUR freedom? Fight, and you may lose everything. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance, to secure freedom and liberty for generations to come?[i]

Join us, and we may just win, but if we do nothing, we will certainly lose this great nation.

[i] Adapted from William Wallaceโ€™s speech as presented in the movie โ€œBraveheart.โ€  โ€œ”I am William Wallace. And I see a whole army of my countrymen, here in defiance of tyranny! You have come to fight as free men. And free man you are! What will you do without freedom… Fight and you may die. Run and you will live, at least a while. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they will never take our freedom!”
