Congressman Sparks Panic In White House, Speaker Johnson Makes Major Declaration (VIDEO)
Congressman Mike Turner (R-OH) stole the news cycle on Valentine’s Day when he sent out a press release that caused some amount of panic–especially within the White House.
Turner is not only a Member of Congress, he serves as Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee; a position that lends credibility to his concerns.
Chairman Turner issued the following statement which serves as a warning to the public, and a demand to President Biden:
“Today, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence made available to all Members of Congress information concerning a serious national security threat.”
“I am requesting that President Biden declassify all information relating to this threat so that Congress, the Administration, and our allies can openly discuss the actions necessary to respond to this threat.”
White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan provided the following response when pressed by reporters to reassure the American public:
Because the subject matter is classified, no further details have yet emerged as to the nature or origin of alarm. Should President Biden declassify some documents, we may find out but judging by the partisan divide in Washington; we will likely never know… God willing.
The development could not come at a worse time for the Biden Administration which is still reeling from the Inspector General report which concluded that Biden is likely unfit to stand trial due to serious memory issues.
That report provoked President Biden to hold a press conference in which he erroneously referred to the President of Mexico by the wrong name–instead naming the President of Egypt–and failing to catch himself in doing so.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) did not mince words when asked about the developments at a press conference on Valentine’s Day, declaring President Biden “unfit for the Oval Office.”
