Libs of TikTok and the Left’s Nasty Retaliation

If you are right-of-center, if you influence the political process in any way and are effective at what you do, then itโ€™s time for you to understand the sleazy tactics leftists will use to try to destroy you.

Consider this article a primer for conservative journalists and politicians and social media activists who canโ€™t be bought.

The leftโ€™s latest target is Chaya Raichik, who created the Twitterย Libs of TikTok feed.

If you are one of the few people not already familiar with Libs of TikTok, then read the article I wrote last year.

On TikTok, public-school teachers confess to a litany of sins they inflict upon children that they would never dare reveal to parents.

On TikTok, you will find overeducated parents who perceive gender as a manmade construct. Also on TikTok you will find early childhood educators who stress why itโ€™s supposedly so crucial to teach preschoolers about gender and sexuality.

Just as often, drag queens go to TikTok to brag about all of the things they can get away with in front of children.

Essentially, Raichik reposts videos that progressives have already posted in the public domainโ€ฆ.and shares them with her audience, which is almost entirely conservative.ย

This makes the left uneasy.

So much so that this month the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) added Raichik to its file of individual extremists and extremist movements. The SPLC has lumped Raichik, who is Jewish, with the Westboro Baptist Church, David Duke, and the Ku Klux Klan.

Recently, Libs of TikTok criticized Planet Fitness for the gymโ€™s trans-inclusive locker room policy. Libs of TikTok was not the only media or social media outlet to report this news.

Exactly 52 Planet Fitness locations (supposedly) reported hoax bomb threats. Media Matters tried to pin all of this on Raichik.

Media Matters provided no evidence that Raichik or Libs of TikTok directly or indirectly inspired those bomb threats.

But why tell the truth when you can benefit from a lie?

This is the leftโ€™s playbook, which seems straight out of the book Rules for Radicals, written by Saul Alinksy (who died in 1972 and can currently be found in Hell, burning in a lake of fire).

โ€œPick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy,โ€ Alinksky wrote.

โ€œGo after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)โ€

In this case, the left tries to discredit their targets as sexists, racists, homophobes, extremists, and/or prone to inspire violence or prone to violence, etc.

The left (and their friends in corporate media) have done this to the Tea Party. They smeared MAGA voters. They told vicious lies about Rush Limbaugh during his lifetime (and continue to do so more than three years after his death).

I and other conservative journalists of mine have gotten the same treatment.

On the positive side, Raichik handles the attacks well. Fewer and fewer people take Media Matters or the SPLC seriously anymore.

Nevertheless, the left fights, and it fights dirty.

The right plays patty-cake with the left. The left fights for blood and it fights to collect human scalps.ย

Enough of this.

Prepare for these attacks. And then prepare to go on offense.
