Illegals Make Ludicrous Demands, Time To Flip The Script
Criminals in the United States have grown more entitled and demanding over time. This stark contrast is a direct result of weak liberal law enforcement. Instead of standing strong and enforcing the law, they have caved, which has only emboldened the lawbreakers, highlighting the urgent need for a change in our law enforcement strategies.
Recently, there have been instances of campus protesters across the country setting up illegal encampments, harassing Jewish students, damaging property, trespassing, and trashing buildings. These actions were followed by ridiculous demands made by the protesters to school administrators. The demands included specific food requests, immunity from suspension, expulsion, arrests, elimination or delay of final exams, and even automatic passing grades.
It was extremely disappointing to see that some administrations allowed protests to escalate into violent demonstrations. Worse, they even sat down with the responsible criminals and attempted to negotiate with them. This type of pandering cannot be tolerated any longer. The fact that the administrations did not take action to end these disruptions earlier is already a sign of failure. Negotiating with these criminals is a complete embarrassment.
Now, a group of illegal aliens in Denver is attempting to do the same thing, make outrageous demands for things they donโt deserve. Fox 31 reports that the demands โcame after a petition by city officials to move people from an encampment near train tracks and under a bridge to indoor shelters funded by the city.โ
โThe migrants have been lobbied by Denver Human Services to get off the street and into shelters,โ an offer that remains, according to city officials, but they are holding out and said the city has reneged on its deal with them, while the city maintains it will continue to offer services to migrants that choose shelter over encampments.โ
So, the city, Iโm sure, with taxpayers’ funds, has offered them inside lodging rather than living in tents. Yet, they have thumbed their nose at that act of graciousness and instead have decided to try and bleed more out of the American public.
An advocate for these migrants that are in the country illegally, who can be more accurately described as a cowardly mouthpiece since he only reveals himself as V Reeves, revealed a few of the moronic demands to Fox 31.
โThe camp, as a collective, came up with a list of demands: fresh, culturally appropriate ingredients for their meals, a connection to employment support, a free immigration lawyer, and a meeting with the Mayor.โ
Jon Ewing, with Denver Human Services, said the city has been trying to persuade the illegal migrants to โcome inside.โ
โWeโve been offering time and shelter, basically just trying to get families to leave that camp and come inside.โ
He added that the shelter provides โthree square meals a dayโ and that โyou can cook your own if you like to.โ
Reeves countered, โThere have been so many complaints about the food being spoiled or not being enough and malnutrition amongst children.โ
He then added that they hadnโt been placed on a work permit path like the migrants in the shelters.
โTheyโre not receiving any kind of official housing or immigration document support, which is incredibly necessary for them to be able to navigate the bureaucracy around these systems.โ
Ewing responded that the city is concerned about their welfare and is trying to provide them with a path to success.
โWhat do you qualify for? What do you not qualify for? What might be something that is a feasible path for you to succeed that is not staying on the streets of Denver? We try to compromise. We try to figure something out. You know, at the end of the day, what we do not want is families on the streets of Denver.โ
According to Fox 31, this is the list of demands the migrants have submitted.
- Migrants will cook their own food with fresh, culturally appropriate ingredients provided by the City instead of premade mealsโrice, chicken, flour, oil, butter, tomatoes, onions, etcโฆ Also, people will not be punished for bringing in and eating outside food.
- Shower access will be available without time limits & can be accessed whenever, we are not in the military, weโre civilians.
- Medical professional visits will happen regularly & referrals/connections for specialty care will be made as needed.
- All will receive the same housing support that has been offered to others. They cannot kick people out in 30 days without something stable established.
- There needs to be a clear, just process before exiting someone for any reason โ including verbal, written & final warnings.
- All shelter residents will receive a connection to employment support, including work permit applications for those who qualify.
- Consultations for each person/family with a free immigration lawyer must be arranged to discuss/progress their cases, and then the City will provide ongoing legal support in the form of immigration document clinics & including transportation to relevant court dates.
- The City will provide privacy for families/individuals within the shelter.
- No more verbal or physical or mental abuse will be permitted from the staff, including no sheriff sleeping inside & monitoring 24/7 โ we are not criminals & wonโt be treated as such.
- Transportation for all children to and from their schools will be provided until they finish in 3 weeks.
- No separating families, regardless of if family members have children or not. The camp will stay together.
- The City must schedule a meeting with the Mayor & those directly involved in running the Newcomer program ASAP to discuss further improvements & ways to support migrants.
- The City must provide all residents with a document signed by a City official in English & Spanish with all of these demands that includes a number to call to report mistreatment.
Fox 31 reported that โThe city continues to bring buses to the encampment for any migrants choosing to leave the encampment and go to a congregate shelter or hotel.โ
This is a NO-BRAINER. These people are criminals. They have thumbed their ignorant noses at the cityโs offer. Forget the shelter and deport them immediately. There should be no more negotiations. Clean up the streets of your city the way you should that is the best way for Americans. Send them and their list back to wherever they came from.
Donโt let the door hit you on the way out.
