C’mon Media, Only Now You Can See Biden Has Lost It?
The biggest lesson that the American people should take away from last night’s debate is the betrayal by the American mainstream media. Last night’s debate proved that the media, supposedly the watchdog of democracy, is not immune to political influence and will lie without a shred of remorse. This should leave us all feeling disillusioned and questioning the trustworthiness of the media.
If they were being honest, everyone in the country would admit that Biden was nothing more than a deteriorating meat puppet who was not in control of his faculties, far less acting as the country’s leader. Still, the media desperately tried daily to make the criticism politically motivated. They saw the same mental decline that we all did, but rather than reporting the truth, they swept it under the rug and continuously made excuses for a situation that was and still is inexcusable.
It wasn’t until Biden’s mental collapse was on full display that they were backed into a corner and had no choice but to tell the truth. The corruption of America’s media was in the spotlight last night, and frankly, it was just as frightening as watching Biden crumble into oblivion.
The last nail was pounded into the media’s trust coffin last night, and, ironically, Biden himself was the hammer. The man who has single-handedly done more to hurt the country than any other president in U.S. history, who has to be led around public events like a three-year-old child, was the one who threw the dirt on the MSM’s grave.
The best part is that they have only themselves to blame. It’s bad enough that Biden exhibited his mindlessness on a daily basis, but the media idiotically followed his presidency like a well-trained puppy dog looking for a pat on the head. Their denial of reality became infuriating. They actually went as far as to claim that tapes of Biden’s gaffes were either manipulated or fake. They literally didn’t want you to believe your own eyes.
At last night’s debate, Biden chose two anti-Trump moderators and an anti-Trump network. He chose the format of having no audience present, no press, and no interruptions. Before the debate, he holed up for a full week at Camp David to prepare, eliminating any excuse for his beyond-dismal showing.
In short, he not only sunk whatever was left of his campaign, but he also destroyed his MSM protection system. The panic from left-wing CNN pundits was palpable when they learned that the network’s own polling found that 67% of respondents said Trump won the debate, compared to only 33% for Biden. Then, like cockroaches, they all scurried to get on the right side of the disaster.
CNN Democrat analyst Van Jones said:
“He’s doing the best that he can, but he had a test to meet tonight to restore confidence in the country and of the base, and he failed to do that. We’re still far from our convention, and there is time for this party to figure out a different way forward if he will allow us to do that.”
Former Obama adviser David Axelrod added that there was a “sense of shock” over how badly he performed.
“He seemed a little disoriented, but by that time, I think the panic had set in, and I think you’re going to hear discussions that − I don’t know will lead to anything − but there is going to be discussions about whether he should continue.”
CNN’s Erin Burnett stated that Biden knew “every one of these questions” were coming during the debate, suggesting that he was tipped off about what would be asked and still “couldn’t fill the time.”
CNN’s turncoat Chris Wallace pulled no punches about Biden’s performance. He compared Biden’s debate to a car wreck in slow motion and that he “sunk his campaign tonight.”
NBC News’ Kristen Welker reported that Democratic lawmakers indicated the race was “effectively over,” while others started to “question what happens moving forward.”
Even ESPN loudmouth Stephen A Smith pleaded with Democrats to find someone to replace Biden.
“So do y’all finally want to stop arguing with me about Biden now???” he posted on X. “Have your fears now been confirmed? @MichelleObama. @VP. Somebody. Please help! Biden’s team WANTED this? His staff, His loved ones…. How could you put him out there like that? How could you!”
Far-left podcast host Cenk Uygur said that the race was over and that it was never a good idea for Biden to take on Trump.
“Biden can’t even talk or stand there and look normal. This thing is a bloodbath. He’s going to get annihilated.”
CBS News reported that there are top House Democrats who are having discussions about forcing Biden to step down after his performance.
MSNBC’s Claire McCaskill, a former Democrat senator, appeared beaten when she reluctantly admitted, “Joe Biden had one thing he had to do tonight and he didn’t do it.”
“He had one thing he had to accomplish, and that was reassure America that he was up to the job at his age, and he failed at that tonight. I don’t know if things can be done to fix this. They might, and Trump is so terrible that this might heal itself, but based on what I’m hearing from a lot of people, and some of them are people that are in high elective offices in this country, and you might guess where they serve, there is a lot more than handwringing tonight. I do think people feel like that we are confronting a crisis.”
What is still infuriating about the media’s acknowledgment of what every American already knew is that they see Biden’s showing as a disaster for the Democratic party but not for the nation. They sat on their microphones for 3-1/2 years and watched the country decay around them and none of them had the guts to speak up and tell the truth.
As if the current state of the media isn’t as upsetting enough, I’m not optimistic that things will improve going forward. When Trump wins in November, he will inherit one of the worst national disasters in history. He will be playing catchup on endless Biden disasters, and sadly, I don’t see him getting any support from the media.
The left is so eaten up by Trump Derangement Syndrome that they will continue their assault on everything that he does and will once again throw the country to the wolves in their narcissistic pursuit of Facetime and clicks.
Journalism is dead in America. Now, all we have is a radical group of self-promoters that constantly try to one-up each other with outrageous and ridiculous claims against conservatives.
Nothing Biden did last night was shocking. Rational people knew that he was an empty shell when he was “placed” in office in 2020. What was really exposed after the debate is that the media will lie to the American public until they are forced to admit what we already knew.
