Hide And Seek With Child Mutilation

What does it say about a person or a government entity that uses just under $10 million taxpayer dollars on a significant study, then, because they donโ€™t like the results, they hide them by not releasing the truth.

The US government funded a ten-million-dollar study that administered puberty blockers to children in an attempt to demonstrate that transitioning was healthy for them. However, the study concluded that it was not beneficial for the kids. As a result, the findings were concealed. The Democrats will persist in harming and altering children, despite knowing they are fundamentally mistaken.

J.K. Rowling Put it perfectly, posting on X:

โ€œWe must not publish a study that says we’re harming children because people who say we’re harming children will use the study as evidence that we’re harming children, which might make it difficult for us to continue harming children.โ€

The results of a government-funded research project showed no mental health improvements for “gender-distressed” children who were placed on puberty blockers. The project director has withheld this information, fearing it could be used to halt such treatments.

Let that sink in for a minute. The left is so evil that even when they learn that treatment is detrimental to children, they hide the results so that the treatment can continue. That is the very epitome of evil. Concealing critical and life-saving information for political gain undermines the very purpose of the medical and scientific communities.

The NIH funded a study beginning in 2015 observing 95 children with an average age of 11 who were taking puberty blockers to delay breast development and the deepening of their voices. Transgender advocates have argued that providing puberty blockers to children experiencing gender dysphoria would enhance their mental health; however, the study revealed that no significant improvement was observed after two years.

An obvious radical, Dr. Johanna Olson-Kennedy, who led the study, stated that the children were “in really good shape when they come in, and they’re in really good shape after two years.” However, as the New York Times pointed out, this claim contradicts research findings that indicated around one-quarter of the study participants were “depressed or suicidal” prior to receiving treatment.

According to the New York Times Kennedyโ€™s reason for not releasing the results for nine years reeks of liberal politics. Asked why, she said the findings might fuel the kind of political attacks that have led to bans of youth gender treatments in more than 20 states, one of which will soon be considered by the Supreme Court.

Again, Kennedy admits that she withheld the NIH study results for nine years so that the country’s youth wouldnโ€™t be protected.

โ€œI do not want our work to be weaponized. It has to be exactly on point, clear and concise. And that takes time.โ€

Another totally egregious aspect of this is that Kennedy, knowing these results, has served as an expert witness in various legal challenges against bans on the treatment of transgender children in many states. Iโ€™m no lawyer, but that sounds like perjury to me.

The study’s original researchers expressed dismay over the findings’ lack of publication. Amy Tishelman, a clinical and research psychologist at Boston College, stated that the evidence should be published.

โ€œI understand the fear about it being weaponized, but itโ€™s really important to get the science out there. No change isnโ€™t necessarily a negative finding โ€” there could be a preventative aspect to it. We just donโ€™t know without more investigation.โ€

Erica Anderson, a clinical psychologist and expert on transgender youth, told the New York Post that Olson-Kennedy’s withholding of research contradicts the scientific method.

โ€œWeโ€™re craving information about these medical treatments for gender-questioning youth. Dr. Olson-Kennedy has the largest grant thatโ€™s ever been awarded in the US on the subject and is sitting on data that would be helpful to know.โ€

โ€œItโ€™s not her prerogative to decide based on the results that she will or wonโ€™t publish them. Itโ€™s contrary to the scientific method. You do research, and then you disclose what the results are. You donโ€™t change them, you donโ€™t distort them, and you donโ€™t reveal or not reveal them based on the reactions of others. You report as scientists what youโ€™ve learned.โ€

I have written many times that the left only cares about their agenda. They are promoting the lie that children can transition and here is a clear example of that. Kennedy has played hide and seek with critical medical information that may have prevented countless children from being mutilated. She hid the truth because it destroys their agenda.

Kennedy is the doctor who prescribed puberty blockers to 12-year-old Clementine after a 30-minute appointment, neglecting the sexual abuse that caused her distress. She told Clementineโ€™s parents they could have a dead daughter or a live son. She went on to give Clementine testosterone at 13, which caused psychosis and sent her for a double mastectomy at 14.

I hope there is a way to adequately punish Kennedy for her dangerous, self-serving decision. Her omission of these results and radical medical practices cannot be swept under the rug.
