Leftists Suffer from Paranoid Delusions of Trump Stealing the Election

Well, it’s finally here. By November 6th, we’ll hopefully know who will lead the country for the next four years. The anticipation is building, and the race is close enough that leftists are having a collective aneurysm.

Trump has Rigged the Polls

According to David Rothkopf, writing in the Daily Beast, Donald Trump already knows he has lost, so his campaign hasn’t been about winning, it’s been about developing a plan to steal the election post voting.

Okay, so how exactly would that work?

Well, Rothkopf says Team Trump is manipulating the polls. In fact, he claims Trump election officials have recently released 75 fake polls. These polls are not designed to affect the election’s outcome, but rather, they will serve as the basis for Trump claiming he was ahead based on the polls, so the election must have been rigged.

“While such polls are costly, estimates suggest that tens of millions have been spent on politically-biased purpose polls during the course of this campaign, and require an enormous amount of coordination, they are by no means the only part of the extensive effort by Trump, his campaign, the MAGA GOP and the enemy governments who are supporting their efforts to lay the groundwork for a massive series of challenges to the 2024 election results.”

Once the election is over, and Trump has declared it illegitimate, teams of lawyers placed strategically around the country will begin rapidly firing lawsuits in order to delay certification. Rothkopf believes this phenomenon will embolden Trump’s rabid followers, and the pressure will result in the election being overturned in the courts, in Congress, or through acts of violence.

Can someone please tell David Rothkopf to take off the tinfoil hat and seek help?

The idea that major polls, which are mostly staffed and run by leftist partisans that traditionally have done everything in their power to promote the Democrat candidate and de-legitimize Trump, would all be on board for some conspiratorial effort to promote Trump in any way is absurd. The steps that would supposedly follow, lawsuits, Congressional action and violence are even more ridiculous.

A much more logical explanation is that David Rothkopf is terrified that Harris is going to lose, and in order to rationalize her defeat, he must fabricate some impossible, hallucinatory conspiracy theory.

Trump Loses but Takes Power Anyway

Writing for Politico, Kyle Cheney, Heidi Przybyla, John Sakellariadis, and Lisa Kashinsky falsely accuse President Trump of attempting to “seize a second term (in 2020), plunging the nation into confusion, conflict and, in its last gasp, violence.”

Now, they are worried he’s at it again.

While they acknowledge that Trump lacks some of the tools at his disposal in 2024 that he had in 2020, like the military and Justice Department, they worry his narrow path to steal the 2024 election makes him even more dangerous.

You see, according to the Politico writers’ clique, they have consulted with unnamed lawmakers, congressional investigators, party operatives, election officials and constitutional experts who have figured out Trump’s election loss battle plan.

— He will deepen distrust in the election results by making unsupported or hyperbolic claims of widespread voter fraud and mounting longshot lawsuits challenging enough ballots to flip the outcome in key states.

— He will lean on friendly county and state officials to resist certifying election results — a futile errand that would nevertheless fuel a campaign to put pressure on elected Republican legislators in statehouses and Congress.

— He will call on allies in GOP-controlled swing-state legislatures to appoint “alternate” presidential electors.

— He will rely on congressional Republicans to endorse these alternate electors — or at least reject Democratic electors — when they convene to certify the outcome.

— He will try to ensure Harris is denied 270 votes in the Electoral College, sending the election to the House, where Republicans are likely to have the numbers to choose Trump as the next president.

Apparently, Trump’s new plan for 2024 is the same one he employed in 2020, when there was substantial evidence of election rigging. In reality, nothing Trump did in 2020 was nefarious. He honestly believed, as do millions of Americans, that the election was dishonest and rigged. The alternate slate of electors in each contested state was a necessary requirement for the legal challenges he mounted, but let’s remember, none of it worked. Not because the election wasn’t rigged, but because the majority of the alleged rigging took place in Democrat counties, where Democrats were in charge of elections and Democrat judges refused to try the cases.

Supposedly, the 2024 Trump menace is now revealing itself because “threats against election officials and growing fears of civil unrest have intensified — potentially at polling places, ballot counting facilities and Electoral College ceremonies.” Of course, none of these leftist “concerns” have any basis in fact or evidence, but the fear mongering plays well to the “Trump is Hitler” crowd.

Packed Supreme Court Theory

Michale Luttig, who writes for CNN, believes Trump will attempt to execute the exact same plan he used to steal the 2024 election with one significant plot twist.

From Luttig’s perspective, despite the documented instances of unusual election activity in 2020, including shutting down ballot tabulation operations in states where Trump was ahead, allowing as many as 368,000 ineligible ballots to be counted in swing states, inexplicable deviations in neighboring precincts that had historically similar voting patterns and voting equipment prone to hacking, the 2020 election was fair and honest.

Luttig claims that in 2020, Trump planned on exploiting the “independent state legislature” doctrine, which gives state legislators the sole power to select its electors. Trump challenged the results in several states that were accused of violating election laws by illegally extending voting deadlines for mail-in ballots and subverting rules relating to ballot signatures, postmarks and residency.

Ultimately, these cases worked their way through the legal system until they made it to the Supreme Court, but the Court was in a quandary due to a 4-4 split since Justice Amy Coney Barrett had not been sworn in yet.

Luttig believes that in 2024, Trump will use the same tactic and rely on a conservative majority in the Supreme Court (with Barrett the deciding vote) to affirm the independent state legislature doctrine. This would allow his operatives in the swing states to work with strategically placed public officials and Republican controlled legislatures to overturn the will of the people and hand Trump the keys to the Oval Office.

Yeah, like there is a chance in hell that will ever happen. The only way something remotely close to this taking place is a political smoking gun the size of a howitzer.

Excuses and Fear Control the Democrat Party

In truth, Republicans actually have had some degree of success in monitoring voter rolls, maintaining a robust presence in voting centers, passing meaningful election integrity laws and disqualifying ineligible voters in the swing states. Without the cover of the pandemic, it will be more difficult in 2024 for Democrats to change the rules in the dead of night without scrutiny, as they did in 2020. That means this election will likely be more secure than the last, and short of some compelling evidence, Trump would find it very difficult to persuade the public, and even his most ardent supporters, that he lost due to election rigging.

All of this paranoia from Democrats is an irrational reaction to the reality that Trump could win, which is a result they are simply not prepared to accept at any level. If there is anything to actually worry about post-election, it’s a Trump victory and the underhanded attempts by woke leftists to deny him the position he will have rightfully earned.
