Trump’s Victory was the Real Defense of Democracy

If the left said it once, these extremists made the comment a thousand times. The Democrats tried to frame the 2024 as being about defending Democracy, and of course, these gas lighters tried to claim they were the country’s savior. Harris and her supporters had several talking points, but there was no issue the Democrats pushed more than the idea that Trump and the MAGA movement were what they called a threat to Democracy.

The pathetic and flawed campaign that the Vice President ran ended with a speech at the same site now President-elect talked to his supporters on January 6th, 2020. The main argument that Harris ended with, was, in typical Orwellian fashion, the claim that she and the left needed to win to save the country from the very threat to Democracy that the Democrats really represented. The absurd defending Democracy argument is main claim the left had used for months leading up to the 2024 election.

The Democrats never accepted Trump as the legitimate President of the United States. Obama had been spying on him before the election, and the left began the party’s fraudulent investigation into the Russian hoax right after Trump came into power in 2016. The Democrats’ pathetic effort to impeach Trump over a phone call was also in reality a coup, since this was an attempt to remove a duly elected President without cause.

The real reason the left tried to impeach and remove Trump was they didn’t think they could win the election in 2020. The Democrats and their supporters also indicted Trump at the federal, state, and local level, though only Soros-funded District Attorney Bragg’s efforts in a heavily Democrat New York enclave produced a conviction.

The reality is that the Democratic Party gave up on Democracy. The left tried to impeach and remove Trump even though he was the duly elected President. The Democrats supported censorship during the 2020 election and afterward, when topics such as the Hunter Biden laptop came up. The Democrats even tried to use indictments against Trump when he announced he was running for the Presidency in 2024. The Democratic party was determined not to let Democracy work, they did not want the public to be able to make the decision over who would be President.

If President Trump had lost, the Democracy that we know would have all but disappeared.

The left would felt empowered by the way they weaponized the court system and the Democrats would have simply continued to use indictments, censorship, and other undemocratic methods to prevent Trump and his supporters from reaching power. Trump’s victory is as much a rejection of the Left and the communist tactics these extremists used, as his decisive win is a major accomplishment for the MAGA movement. Many on the Left has always preferred the elite to make decisions, which is why these individuals always applauded when the Supreme Court would make policy on issues such as Abortion and Gay Marriage. The real reason the new and far left-wing Democratic Party called Trump an existential threat to Democracy is because he represents the public taking back control of the flawed and corrupt government. The irony is that while the first exit polls showed defending Democracy was a key issue in people’s decision to vote, Trump won many of these voters who saw through the left’s Orwellian rhetoric and actions.

America came far too close to potentially losing key parts of our Democracy in 2024. If Musk had not bought Twitter prior to the 2024 election or if the Supreme Court had not delayed the fraudulent cases brought against Trump, the outcome of the Presidential election could have been very different, and the left would have felt emboldened to further infringe on the Democratic principles are country was founded upon. While Trump’s victory was absolutely a major achievement for the MAGA movement, the win was also a huge victory for the country’s freedoms as well.
