Gird Your Loins for the Next Democrat President
I am going to say out loud what no one wants to hear.
Someday, there will be another Democrat president who will preside over a Congress with both chambers controlled by Democrats.
And then all hell will break loose.
Iโm all for celebrating the exuberance that working class Americans are feeling right now. Republicans have majorities in both the House and the Senate, and Donald Trump is poised to assume the presidency after the continuity of his term was disrupted by the rigged 2020 election. There is great hope we will return to some sense of normalcy after four years of uncertainty and policies that negatively impacted our country.
Leftists Arenโt Going Away
If we have learned anything over the past 16 years since Barack Obama took office, itโs that leftists are shrewd, cold and calculating. How else could you explain their patience in hatching a plan for authoritarian rule that took decades to come to fruition?
No political movement in modern history demonstrated the fortitude required to infiltrate and subsequently control every important societal institution, including academia, the media, government, the judiciary, law enforcement, and major corporations. They created an interlocked network of influential entities that worked together to promote censorship, mass illegal immigration, wealth transfer, suppression of constitutional freedoms and promotion of fringe lifestyles.
With the foundation set during the Obama administration, woke leftists seized on the election of feeble-minded Joe Biden and a Democrat Congress as the signal they needed to emerge from the shadows and unleash their destructive agenda on a largely unsuspecting public. Within days of assuming power, a series of initiatives were enacted to open Americaโs borders to all illegal aliens who wanted to make the trip, regardless of their past or if they had any desirable skills.
We saw CRT, which taught minorities they were victims and European Americans were oppressors, adopted in many schools. We experienced mutilation of children in the name of gender identity. On college campuses and the workplace, viewpoints that ran contrary to the woke leftist narrative were suppressed. Corporations across America were forced to adopt the racist policies of DEI, where people get jobs and are promoted based on appearance rather than merit. Unelected bureaucrats continued their relentless push to force people out of their cars and into public transportation.
Perhaps worst of all, we saw the left weaponize our law enforcement and judicial institutions for the purpose of silencing the opposition. This was most apparent in the arrest, indictment and conviction of President Trump and many of his associates. Simultaneously, leftists engineered a silent coup against a sitting president during the fake Russia collusion hoax, and not a single one of the nefarious characters behind the plot went to prison.
The Left Refuses to Concede
After the 2024 election, America breathed a collective sigh of relief. The horror of the woke leftist siege was over and had been beaten back. It was a signal that all was clear. We could throw away the campaign signs, stop attending political rallies, forget about politics and return to a more normal life of barbeques with friends, attending the kidsโ sporting events and watching our 401ks.
Some on the left seemed to further these beliefs in their analysis of the 2024 post-election results. Pundits like Van Jones and Bill Mahrer saw the Democratsโ loss at the polls as a repudiation of their policies, and a message they had fallen out of touch with Americaโs middle class.
Jones and Mahrer are right, but to the hard core woke leftists that control the Democratic party, none of that matters. If you look at the comments by David Axelrod and Max Frost, you realize that the most progressive elements in the Democratic party believe the reason they lost in 2024 was because their candidates didnโt go far enough in championing identity politics. Look at the words of outgoing DNC Chair Jaime Harrison, and you will understand the sentiment of the Democrats in charge even after defeat:
โWhen I wake up in the morning, when I look in the mirror, when I step out the door, I canโt rub this off. This is who I am. This is how the world perceives me. That is my identity. And it is not politics. It is my life. And the people that I need in the party, that I need to stand up for me, have to recognize that. You cannot run away from that.โ
Leftists will Wait Patiently
Itโs easy and therapeutic to forget about politics for a while. Most people look at participating in an election with the same sense of dread they get when itโs time to go to the dentist. But next time youโre watching your daughterโs soccer game, remember, a leftist is at a meeting. When youโre out watching a movie, theyโre at a rally. These people are fanatical, and they will not go away.
Instead, theyโll shrink back into the shadows for a bit and wait. Theyโll wait for another pandemic, or theyโll wait for another housing crisis. Theyโll bide their time until something emerges that makes Republicans vulnerable. The left is in the epidemiology phase of the process, analyzing every step they made, and the opposition made, in an effort to devise a strategy thatโs more effective in hiding their true intent.
Democrats miscalculated two things in 2024. They did not count on the resilience and grit of the rogue element named Trump, and they overestimated Americaโs shame tolerance. Trust me, they will not make these same mistakes the next time around. They also know the next time they have power, they must move quickly to pack the Supreme Court, ban the filibuster and codify election cheating so theyโll always have a bullet proof majority in the swing states. Once all three goals are accomplished, the left can finally usher in the era of authoritarianism they thirst for.
When the 2028 election cycle arrives, rest assured, they will be prepared. You may hear about a new Democrat party that is all about working people, but donโt be fooled by wolves in sheepโs clothing.
