National Park Cutbacks And Tantrum-Throwing Liberals

President Donald Trump’s and DOGE’s budget cuts have all but closed our national parks, according to our partisan media, and liberals on social media are freaking out.

This is their new talking point.

The leftโ€™s hysterical reaction to the national parks situation tells me they are spoiled, entitled brats.

As reportedย in USA Today and countless other outlets, โ€œnational Parks across the country are cutting hours, cancelling cave tours, closing visitor centers and warning of other cutbacksย following Trump administration cutsย to the federal workforce.โ€

Even if the Democrat-run media is telling that story accurately โ€” and I don’t trust them enough to do so, and I am certain there is additional context they aren’t telling โ€” these closures are not permanent.

America is bankrupt, and when you’re bankrupt you have to cut back on expensesโ€ฆlike normal people do.

How many of you don’t go to the movies anymore because, under inflation (caused by Democrats) your budgets won’t permit it?

Have many of you had to skip going on vacation last year or the year before last (or even the year before that) because your budget wouldn’t allow it?

Have many of you need a new luxury item that you would have otherwise been able to afford โ€” before Joe Biden was president โ€” but now you cannot?

The same principle is going on here.

Companies that are in financial peril (and whose leaders are smart and have good business sense) have to make cuts like this all the time.

We ought to run our government the same way we run a business, and, after all of the debt weโ€™re in, there is no more room for discussion.

Mammoth Cave, Ky. isn’t going anywhere and can wait a few years.

Make sacrifices now, and Americans 50 years from now will thank you for it. Unless, of course, you want them to live in squalor and crippling debt?

A lot of these entitled liberals would never have made it through World War II and all of the sacrifices and rationing and federal budget cuts that our grandparents and great-grandparents had to endure.

Doing without national parks for a while, among many other luxuries, might just humble them.ย
