Biden’s Incompetency Is Out Of This World

In June of last year, two American astronauts, Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore were launched on a mission that was intended to last for only eight days. However, the pair have remained marooned at the International Space Station (ISS) due to technical issues with their Boeing Starliner spacecraft. Those issues included helium leaks, failed thrusters, and a jammed propellant valve making a return trip to Earth too dangerous to attempt.

The idea that two American astronauts could be stranded for nine months is an embarrassing proposition, even considering that they were in no imminent danger that required an emergency rescue.

Last month, Elon Musk made serious claims about the astronauts’ extended stay in space. During an appearance on Fox News with Donald Trump, Musk alleged they were “left up there for political reasons, which is concerning.”

On his podcast with Joe Rogan, Musk reiterated his claim that SpaceX offered to rescue the astronauts last year, but the Biden administration rejected his offer.

Musk claims that Biden’s refusal was politically motivated ahead of the presidential election. Musk put it this way:

“There is no way they’re going to make anyone supporting Trump look good.”

When initially questioned about Musk’s claim, Wilmore soft peddled his answer, but when asked again, he shifted his response.

“I can only say that Mr. Musk, what he says, is absolutely factual … I believe him.”

In September, SpaceX launched a Crew Dragon capsule to rescue the pair of astronauts, but after it docked at the space station, NASA decided to postpone its return.

While Wilmore expressed his trust in Musk, he mentioned that neither he nor Williams were aware of the private discussions regarding their rescue.

“We have no information on that, though, whatsoever. What was offered, what was not offered, who it was offered to, how that process went. That’s information that we simply don’t have.”

Wilmore also voiced his support for the new president and the world’s richest man.

Williams added:

“All of us have the utmost respect for Mr. Musk, and obviously, respect and admiration for our president of the United States, Donald Trump. We appreciate them. We appreciate all that they do for us, for human space flight, for our nation.”

Wilmore’s sixteen-year-old daughter also thinks something political took place. Daryn Wilmore took to TikTok early last month to express her longing to hug her father again and lament all the family moments he has missed due to the orbital mishap. SpaceX founder Elon Musk attributes the delay in a rescue to the Biden administration’s reluctance to act.

“He’s missed out on a lot. It’s less the fact that he’s up there sometimes; it’s more the fact of why. There’s a lot of politics; there’s a lot of things that I’m not at liberty to say in that I don’t know fully about. But there’s been issues, there’s been negligence. It’s just been issue after issue after issue.”

She said her family gets to speak to her father almost daily and said he’s keeping busy.

“Recently we found out he will most likely be coming back in mid-March, which is so exciting, and I miss him so much, and I can only wait to hug his neck and see my sister graduate high school and see the show I’m in right now.”

“But, fingers crossed, things could always change and especially with this whole thing. We’ve had so many changes. He’s just been bummed, but he’s fine. My dad has always been resilient.”

NASA has confirmed that SpaceX’s Crew-10 mission has been expedited to bring the stranded astronauts home. The mission is scheduled to launch on March 12th, earlier than previously planned, and was made possible by NASA’s decision to use a previously used SpaceX capsule.

The two crews will spend about a week together aboard the space station before Wilmore and Williams depart. They will return alongside NASA’s Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov. The mission represents the culmination of months of planning to bring the astronauts back to Earth safely.

It’s not surprising that the incompetence of Biden’s administration couldn’t be contained by the Earth’s atmosphere. It bled into every decision they made, and they were always based on personal, political, or monetary gain.

Wilmore and Williams may be stranded at the ISS, but it’s Biden, Harris, and their cronies who are Lost in Space.
