The Sanders-AOC Tour Around America Again Shows The Democrats Have no Coherent Messaging
The Democrats are a party in disarray. When Trump won the 2024 election, the fact the President won both the popular vote and an electoral landslide represented a clear rejection of the absurd messaging of the left. The Democrat’s core talking point was that the party was defending Democracy, but when the country voted for Trump, that talking point became mute since the democratic choice of the nation was to overwhelmingly support both Trump and the MAGA movement.
There has also been a clear divide in the Democratic party in how to approach a second Trump term, with some Democrats like Fetterman willing to compromise with the President, while others on the left such as AOC wanting to continue to oppose everything the 47th President says and does. The fractures on the left showed most clearly in the heated dispute over shutting the government down that occurred when minority leader Schumer made a decision to support the Republicans’ continuing resolution. The Democratic party is devoid of leadership or message, the left represents no one and nobody.
The current nationwide tour by Bernie Sanders and AOC also shows how devoid the left is of any even remotely coherent messaging against the President and the MAGA movement. While the out-of-touch progressives keep talking about oligarchy and mentioning the billionaires in the Trump administration, the reality is that most big tech companies billionaires have been supporting the Democratic party for some time. Indeed, the disgusting censorship of conservatives during the Biden administration was only possible because of the cooperation of big tech companies such as Facebook and Twitter with the left. Silicon Valley has been exclusively supporting Democrats for a long time, while the Republicans have become the party of working-class people, the claim the Trump administration is pushing an oligarchy is a patently absurd take, and yet another attempt of the left’s gaslighting.
The President and his MAGA movement represent the country. Trump won the popular vote by nearly 2.8 million votes in addition to achieving an electoral landslide, the notion that Republicans don’t represent the nation is a clear and obvious lie. While AOC and Sanders are traversing the country talking about how Trump supports oligarchies and doesn’t support diversity or ordinary people, neither politician is talking about any ideas the Democrats have for the middle class, and the messaging of these progressives against the President is equally nonsensical.
The Democratic party has an approval rating below 30 percent, the left represents no one. The decision by the Democrats to position the party as nothing more than the anti-Trump party meant that when Trump won the entire purpose of the Democratic party was destroyed. The left refuses to listen to or represent the middle class, the Democrats continue to gaslight, lie, and lecture the country about what America should stand for instead of actually trying to give ordinary people a voice. The Democratic party lacks both leadership and a coherent message, and the recent tour by AOC and Senator Sanders is yet another reminder of that fact.
