2 Ships Passing in the Night: The Democrats are Breaking into Ice Facilities while Trump is Cutting Trade Deals Around the World
There is no issue that shows what is wrong with today’s pathetic Democratic party more than illegal immigration. In just the last month the left has tried to break into ICE facilities, attempted to bring back an MS-13 gang member who was involved with human smuggling, and even tried to offer these individuals free housing in the state of California. The Democrats are fighting harder for those who came here illegally than US citizens. The obsession the left has with open borders and fighting for illegal immigrants shows how little the broken Democratic Party cares about actual Americans.
President Trump just announced a major breakthrough in trade negotiations with China, and he will travel to the Middle East this week as well. Trump helped broker a ceasefire with Pakistan and India just a couple of days ago, his efforts also helped ease tensions between Russia and Ukraine, and there have been multiple credible reports that Iran is looking to make a deal with the United States to ease sanctions as well. The President also recently signed an executive order to help bring key drug prices down. Trump’s achievements continue to mount, while the left remains worried about every constituency group except American citizens.
When the Trump administration mistakenly deported Kilmar Abrego Garcia to El Salvador, the President could have sent him to any country but that one without violating a court order, the left thought making this gang member and wife beater a major political cause would be a winning issue for this failing party. The left was wrong as usual. Garcia was caught trafficking children, his wife stated he beat her repeatedly, and he has tattoos on his hands showing he was an MS-13 gang member. MS-13 is one of the most violent and vile gangs in the world. Despite attempts by the left and the corrupt legacy media to portray Garcia as a Maryland man, the reality was this gang member was both violent and here illegally.
The political stunt by Democrats in the past week to break into an ICE facility in Newark, New Jersey, where rapists were being held, was another reminder of how absurd the left’s stand against Trump’s deportation initiatives, several Democratic members of Congress recently broke into a detention facility where violent criminals, including murderers, were being held. This action was both dumb and dangerous, the left reminded America how out-of-touch with reality the party has become yet again. These radical members of Congress also assaulted several members of ICE.
There has been a clear divide in the Democratic Party in how to approach Trump’s second term, with some on the left such as Governor Whitmer of Michigan and Senator Fetterman of Pennsylvania reaching out to the President, while most Democrats are still opposing everything the 47th President says and does. Trump won the 2024 election in a landslide and the American people sent a clear message in November. The fact remains that the Democratic party has not been able to articulate any clear vision for the Americans, the left is still simply an anti-Trump movement, the Democrats stand for nothing and no one, and the party’s attempts to oppose Trump deportation efforts are a clear reminder of this fact.
