Fetterman Hit Piece Exposes Democrats’ Systemic Corruption, Double Standards
The left-wing mob will not tolerate any dissent.
It was only a matter of time before the left came for Senator John Fetterman from Pennsylvania. The longtime Democrat whose recent election victory was celebrated by both moderates and progressives on the left, committed what the current Democratic party views as an unforgivable sin, the down-to-earth politician actually met with President Trump and made a nice comment about the twice-elected leader of our Nation. There has been a clear divide in the Democratic party since Trump’s landslide political victory, with some such as AOC and Sanders disagreeing with everything the President says and does, while others such as Governor Whitmer and Fetterman have decided to actually listen to the American public and try to work with Trump.
Senator Fetterman began to move away from the Democrats prior to the President’s 2024 election. The many on the left who celebrated Hamas and the group’s actions were already making him uneasy. When Trump won in November he was one of the first Democrats to go to Mar-a-Lago to visit him. After Fetterman visited the President and then made some favorable comments about him, he was a marked man. Even though the Senator from Pennsylvania represents a State that overwhelmingly went for Trump, the ruthless left-wing mob had their sites on him.
The recent ineffective and disingenuous hit piece that the New Yorker dropped was as ironic as this kind of ruthless coverage was absurd. First, this is the same Democratic party that covered up the fact former President Biden was senile for nearly his full term and was not running the country. Second, the Democrats also had no issue with former Senator Diane Feinstein remaining in her position even though she had severe mental decline and Alzheimer’s. The California liberal even struggled to remember basic conversations she had with people such as Senate Minority Leader Schumer. This article attacking Fetterman’s mental health cited anonymous staffers who were disgruntled and claimed that the Pennsylvania Senator had missed nearly 10 percent of votes in the Senate where his votes made him unqualified for his position. The other irony of this hit piece is that Fetterman’s original stroke occurred before the Pennsylvania Senate race, and the overwhelming majority of the Democratic establishment in the State still supported him.
If the left didn’t have double standards, these radicals would have no standards at all. The Democrats don’t care about Fetterman or his mental health, these partisans are attacking him because he treated Trump with respect and moved away from the nasty and far-left base of today’s failing Democratic party. While Fetterman has had some well-documented mental health issues resulting from his stroke, such as severe depression, he has seemed fit to serve in the Senate since that episode. These kinds of attacks on Democrats are exactly the reason why few moderates have any power in the party today.
The attempts by the left to remove Fetterman from today’s broken Democratic party show how far-left the Democrats have gone. Fetterman has been a progressive for nearly his whole political career in Pennsylvania as a mayor and lieutenant governor. The liberal Senator even clashed with moderates in his state, like Shapiro, over issues like pardons. The left-wing mob won’t tolerate any Democratic leaders working or saying even somewhat pleasant comments about the current President, Fetterman has been targeted since he visited Trump, the same way these radicals went after Whitmer as well. America spoke in November, and the country sided with Trump and the MAGA movement, the fact that the Democrats are now trying to eliminate any more well-known political leader who is even willing to work with the President shows how broken this party is.
