WOW, How Incredibly Ignorant Are Minnesota Politicians

There are a lot of ridiculous decisions made in blue states and cities, but Minnesota, right now, is striving to take over the current title for blatant ignorance. Despite being caught up in what may be the worst fraud case in American History, Minnesota politicians are choosing to die on a foreign hill, Somalia to be specific, by continuing to try to shove their value to American society down the throats of the public.

While there is a federal and congressional investigation into fraudsters in their refugee community who defrauded taxpayers out of as much as $9 billion, the state’s lieutenant governor, Peggy Flannigan, wore a hijab in an incredibly moronic and uncaring exhibition on Christmas Day.

While at the Karmel Mall in Minneapolis, Flannigan, flanked by other local officials, made a complete fool out of herself by declaring, “I am incredibly clear that the Somali community is part of the fabric of the state of Minnesota.” Somali TV of Minnesota released the video.

She then continued her incredibly insensitive cheerleading for this community of non-conformers by spewing:

“I am here shopping today and just encourage other folks to show up, support our Somali businesses, support our immigrant neighbors, and I know that things are scary right now.”

Really? Show up and support Somali businesses? You mean like the phony child care centers and food distribution centers that bilked billions from Minnesota taxpayers?

The U.S. Treasury Department, along with a prominent House committee, is investigating Somali-linked organizations and other nonprofits in Minnesota. These groups are accused of defrauding taxpayers by misappropriating approximately half of the $18 billion in federal funding allocated to the state since 2018.

Minnesota’s top federal prosecutor, Joe Thompson, said about the fraud:

“The magnitude cannot be overstated. What we see in Minnesota is not a handful of bad actors committing crimes. It’s staggering, industrial-scale fraud.”

The largest scheme involved the conviction of dozens of fraudsters from the nonprofit organization Feeding Our Future. They misappropriated over $250 million, which they used to buy luxury cars and real estate, with some purchases even made in far-off countries like Kenya and Turkey.

Walz tried to shift blame, claiming the fraud was caused by loopholes in the system, but anyone who believes $9 billion was lost through “loopholes” without anyone’s knowledge needs to come back down to reality.

In a statement to the liberal New York Times, Walz said:

“The programs are set up to move the money to people. The programs are set up to improve people’s lives, and in many cases, the criminals find the loopholes.”

Employees at the Minnesota Department of Human Services, one of the two state agencies that distributed the funds, criticized the Democratic governor for being “100 percent responsible for the massive fraud.”

Walz previously attempted to blame a Minnesota judge for requiring some payments to Feeding Our Future to resume in 2021, which led to a strong rebuke.

That same year, he also awarded a fraudster at a separate nonprofit affiliated with the extensive scheme an “Outstanding Refugee Award.”

The House Oversight Committee requested records from Governor Walz, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, and other state officials and nonprofits by December 17 as part of Chairman James Comer’s investigation into the fraudulent scheme.

In response to that request, Comer provided this update, which, in my opinion, is not nearly firm or demanding enough.

“Minnesota Governor Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison have provided initial productions to the Oversight Committee regarding the massive fraud that occurred under their watch, but the response is anemic. While the Governor’s office claims it will continue producing documents, we intend to hold them to that promise. Any failure to fully cooperate with our investigation into the massive theft of taxpayer dollars will carry consequences.

Really, today is December 27th, and they have already missed your deadline by ten days. Republicans need to talk less and act more. What these people got away with is beyond criminal. Minnesota officials are either totally incompetent, complicit in the fraud, or both.

What Minnesota officials could not achieve, Nick Shirley accomplished. Shirley is an American YouTuber who investigates and interviews people on various subjects, creating videos about essential issues.

In this video, Shirley discovers a Somali day care with its windows blacked out and no one around, even though it is supposed to be teaching 99 children. This place is so incompetent that they even misspelled the word Learning on the sign, calling it a “Learing” Center. The entire time he is filming an idiotic leftist that has no business being there, he is running around hollering, “ICE is here, don’t open up.”

Here’s another daycare, with no children.

What took place in Minnesota is a criminal disgrace. Heads MUST Roll. Fraud on this scale could not have gone unnoticed; people knew and did nothing. You can draw your own conclusions as to why that would have taken place.
