The US Fencing Scandal Again Shows How Radical the Democratic Party has Become

The left has changed dramatically in the last 20 years. In the 1990s the Democrats still supported Title 9 and the party was able to work with Republicans on a range of issues from welfare reform, spending cuts, and even some tax reductions for the capital gains and alternative minimum taxation levels. The Democratic party today is a radical and out-of-touch one that supports open borders, very high levels of taxation, the destruction of the oil and gas industry, and even biological men playing in women’s sports. The energy and power of the Democratic party is on the far-left, moderate Democrats have very minimal power today. The Democratic party cannot even define what a woman is today.

Stephanie Turner is a brave and heroic person. The American fencer recently decided to take a knee at a US Fencing event rather than compete against a biological male in what was supposed to be a women’s division. She took a knee rather than compete against this male, and was given a black card and disqualified from the event. US Fencing claimed her actions violated the supposedly inclusionary policies that the sport is enforcing in accordance with the FIE, a global governing body of Fencing worldwide. US fencing also claimed Turner was disqualified for refusing to compete, not for taking a knee in protest, but the governing committee later issued a statement saying that they supported what the governing committee absurdly referred to as an inclusionary policy.

President Trump has made making sure biological men cannot compete with female athletes a major issue in his Presidency. Trump has signed executive orders to limit funding to states that allow biological men to compete with women, and he recently took on the left-wing radical of Maine on this issue. The polls are clear, the overwhelming majority of Americans support keeping biological men from competing in women’s sports. The differences between men and women could not be more stark. Men have nearly 40 percent more core muscle than women, and males also have significantly less body fat. If men were allowed to compete in women’s sports the opportunities that Title 9 carved out decades ago would very quickly disappear.

The irony of the debate surrounding biological men competing with women is that science clearly identifies 2 genders. The difference between men and women is a scientifically verified fact, not a political construct. The same radical Democratic party that claims to believe in science when the discussion of what the left refers to as climate change comes up, does not follow the most basically accepted scientific facts when it comes to the difference between men and women. In an explosive recent congressional hearing, Turner’s brave action to stand up to the radical US Fencing committee that is attempting to take away females’ right to compete separately from men was front and center. Turner testified that there are over 200 US fencers who are not biological women who are competing with females and she demanded the government take action to protect her and others in her position. She explained how she cried and felt defrauded by having to compete against far stronger men after having spent her whole life preparing to fight in what historically had been a women’s division.

One of the biggest mistakes the left has made about President Trump is to suggest he only won because of economic issues such as high prices. This is false. The 47th President’s November victory was as much about the radical direction this far-left version of the Democratic Party is trying to take American culture with issues such as biological men competing in women’s sports. The idea of allowing biological men to compete with women defines the differences between today’s Republican and Democratic parties more than any other. The right is fighting to protect opportunities for women, while the Democrats are trying to destroy opportunities for females to compete as was originally envisioned by acts such as Title 9.
