The Failing Legacy Media is Caught Again Trying to Call Rioters in California Protestors
The stale and old playbook of the left and these radicals’ allies in the failing mainstream media isn’t working anymore. In the President’s first term the corrupt legacy press did some political damage to the President by lying and gaslighting about Trump’s nonexistent ties to Russia, his comments in Charleston that were taken out of context, and even absurdly claiming that the rioters destroying America’s cities after George Floyd passed away were peaceful protestors. Today, the media landscape has changed dramatically. Twitter is now a free speech platform, the public no longer has trust in the failing mainstream media, and the country has gotten wise to the many disgusting tactics that leftists are trying to use in order to sow discontent and undermine the President.
The dishonest legacy press was successful in 2020 at convincing much of the public that the violent rioters who destroyed much of America’s cities, including black businesses were actually peaceful protestors with a higher goal. The left controlled most of social media, including Facebook and what at the time was known as Twitter. Left-wing propaganda news outlets such as ABC and CBS still had some credibility in large circles of the United States as well. CNN even tried to claim the rioters in Kenosha were nonviolent as a building burned in the background, one of many properties destroyed by mostly out-of-state agitators who engaged in repeated violence.
The crime wave that followed the lawless that left-wing rioters engaged in 2020 was a direct result of the political and media establishment both supporting and refusing to denounce the organized violence that anti-Trump rioters engaged in for nearly a full year. When a political leader’s supporters are engaging in violence and that individual remains quiet, silence is complicity, and that again is what the nation is sadly seeing unfold in California on the watch of failed Democrats such as LA Mayor Karen Bass and the state’s governor, Gavin Newsom.
The left’s playbook isn’t working anymore, as the failed recent hit pieces on Senator Fetterman showed, as well as recent attempts to gaslight and lie about the violence against Immigration officials who are focused on deporting some of the most violent and dangerous convicts that came here illegally and are still in the United States. In LA County cars were burned, police and law enforcement individuals were attacked, and bricks were even seen being thrown through the windshields of police vehicles with officers inside. The violent rioters had no respect for the cops or the rule of law, and these left-wing rioters waived the Mexican flag while trying to sow the kind of chaos not seen on a widespread basis in the US since 2020. While both MSNBC and CNN have predictably tried to portray the organized violence as peaceful protest, the many videos of multiple instances of violent left-wing thugs attacking law enforcement and destroying property are easy on Twitter, Fox, and other media platforms, for the public to see.
Indeed, the Democratic party’s continual threats and effort to undermine Tom Homan’s goal of deporting illegal immigrants shows what any objective observer knew all along, the left does not believe in the rule of law. The same party that supported an open border policy under Biden, rioting during Trump’s first term in 2020, and now even more violence now against ICE officials apprehending violent illegal immigrants, is a disgrace. The events unfolding in LA County are yet another reminder of why the Democratic Party’s approval rating is 30 percent, and the tired tactics of the failing left are simply no longer working
