Winsome Earle-Sears Plays Pin The Tail On The Donkey With Arrogant Abigail Spanberger

The state of Virginia has been in the news for the last several years for issues that are not very complimentary. Fairfax County, which is the largest school district in the state and the ninth largest in the country, is consumed by wokeness. Hardly a week goes by that another scandal, often times involving some LGBTQ issue doesn’t arise.

Now, Virginia finds itself on the brink of choosing a new Governor, and the two candidates are on opposite ends of the relatability scale. That fact could not have been more clearly highlighted than at their debate last week.

I’ve always been semi-undecided on the validity of debates; many times, it’s nothing more than two well-rehearsed politicians spewing party talking points that lack substance. Still, when a debate does expose flaws in one candidate or another, they can be invaluable to voters. A great example is the debate between Trump and Biden last year. That debate clearly demonstrated the mind paralysis that Biden had developed. At the same time, it exposed all of the Democrats and talking heads within the media who had lied about his condition for years.

Last week’s debate was between the Republican candidate, Winsome Earle Sears, and the Democrat’s offering of Abigail Spanberger, and I hope every eligible voter in the state watched it.

There is a somewhat vulgar saying about a person who thinks their bodily “waste” doesn’t stink. It describes a person who assumes an air of arrogance, condescension, or superiority over others, believing themselves to be better or more refined than those around them. That, in a nutshell, is Abigail Spanberger.

This is a person who oozes arrogance and disdain for everyone besides herself. It is extremely rare to see someone carry themselves with such despicable pomposity on a public stage. To say that Spanberger displayed a cold-blooded sense of entitlement would be a tremendous understatement.

Throughout the entire debate, the uppity Spanberger refused to make eye contact with Earle-Sears—a new low, even for Democrats. Even Biden, who was brain-dead to logic, stared off into space in Trump’s direction during the debate.

Earle-Sears repeatedly addressed Spanberger directly during both women’s answers, but did not receive any direct responses in return.

More importantly, Spanberger refused to answer relevant questions, instead choosing to either ramble on, deliberately avoiding taking a stance on what should be obvious issues, or standing silently with a contemptuous smirk on her face.

One hot topic was the recent release of texts sent by current Virginia Attorney General candidate Jay Jones in 2022. He sent them to a Republican legislator fantasizing about the death of then-House Speaker Todd Gilbert. The texts, which were made public by the National Review earlier this month, have caused a major political scandal during Jones’s campaign.

The texts proposed a scenario where he had two bullets and three people to shoot: Todd Gilbert, Adolf Hitler, and Pol Pot. He wrote that Gilbert would receive “two bullets to the head.”

Reports indicate that Jones made comments suggesting he wished that Gilbert’s wife could experience the death of her child in her arms to change his political views. Republican Delegate Carrie Coyner, who received the texts, urged Jones to stop, stating that his remarks “really bother” her.

Prominent Democrats and Republicans, including President Donald Trump, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, and Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, have condemned the messages. While many Republicans have urged Jones to withdraw from the race, he remains on the ticket.

Spanberger refused to answer the moderator’s question about whether she would continue to support Jones’ campaign, despite being asked five times.

Spanberger told the moderators she was “aware of these messages” and that they were “absolutely abhorrent.”

“I denounced them when I learned of them, and I will denounce them every chance I get,” as Earle-Sears interjected once more to attempt to press for a straight answer.

“I didn’t hear an answer on the Jones question,” co-moderator Deanna Albrittin told Spanberger.

When the moderators pressed Spanberger on whether she would continue to support Jones. She responded that the decision rests with the voters, who will determine whether they want to support him now that they have the information. This answer echoed her initial statement made last week when her campaign promptly addressed the news, but still did not answer the question of whether she would support Jones.

On another issue about men and boys in women’s and girls’ locker rooms or playing in their sports, Spanberger again bottomed out. When Earle-Sears questioned Spanberger about waiting several days before condemning a left-wing protester’s racist sign at an Arlington anti-transgender-sports demonstration headlined by the Republican candidate. Spanberger had little to say.

The sign said that Earle-Sears should not be able to share water fountains (as a Black woman) if transgender students can’t share bathrooms.

When moderator Tom Schaad asked Spanberger whether transgender girls born male should be able to use female bathrooms and be on co-ed sports teams, she once again danced around answering the question with noncommittal political jargon.

“Nothing is more important to me than their safety and their experience in schools.” She then offered a lengthier answer that also cited her experience as a former federal agent investigating crimes against children.

“That work, in part, has earned me the endorsement of the Police Benevolent Association.”

Schaad repeated the question, noting there was no direct answer, and later tried to ask if Spanberger would revoke an executive order by Governor Glenn Youngkin that established a bathroom policy based on biological sex.

“My opponent will not answer the question because she voted for men nude in girls’ locker rooms,” Earle-Sears stated.

This election should be a no-brainer for the voters in Virginia. Earle-Sears obviously cares about the people of the state and the policies that are initiated to help govern them in the best way.

Spanberger, on the other hand, cares only about falling into lockstep with the moronic ideals of the far-left democrats. Her refusal to even look at her opponent clearly demonstrates an abundance of small-minded pettiness that proves she is not capable of being the Governor of any state.

This is an easy one, Virginia. Do the right thing, vote for Winsome Earle-Sears for Governor, and Republican incumbent Jason Miyares for the state’s Attorney General.

It’s time for sanity to win again.
